Reselecting destination system

When I have made a path to a system I can jump to next system consecutively. But if I select a local planet I can't make retarget the path system again without going into the galaxy map. How do I avoid having to go to the galaxy map again when I have selected a local planet?

Have you bound a key to "Select next destination in route" ?
You should be able to hit that button and continue on your journey.

That is typically 0 or "zero" by default.

Or, you can look the the left and select the star system with the water molecule model next to it.

Experimentation is good for the soul.

And while you're mapping keys, map a high wake and a supercruise button. Mine are H and S. This way, if you get interdicted or otherwise need it in a pinch, you can just hit the H key and jump to the next system. Works real well if you're masslocked with failing shields. Just make sure you have something selected before the problem arises.

On the flipside, the Supercruise button comes in handy when you get interdicted while fuel scooping in an unexplored system and kill the perp. Makes it much easier to return fuel scooping.

Great, that was exactly what I was looking for. I missed that when browsing the options list. Also I had 0 bound to shield cell bank, and "Select next destination in route" was unbound.
