Wolf 1301 and the Thargoid UAs.

Wolf 1301 recently had an alien device sold on its black market. So my theory was that these UAs are tethers to Witch space and that they draw power from stations so they can eventually tear open a portal for thargoids. Saunders dive's gun batteries are more then ready for the thargoids :)
Also I will give any commander that gives me relevant information on a possible UAs drop that leades to the halting of the attack a payment of 1,000,000 credits.

Just in case anybody doesn't know what an Unknown ('alien') Artefact is, they're an unknown (alien?) artefact usually found in a 135-150LY shell - or ring - around the system Merope near the Pleiades nebula. Avoid strong signal sources if you're out there, because that's where they've been found

Im really a bit scared of this aliens. While exploring I always had them in mind, that it might happen when I was outside the bubble.

xD What did I do to be on a "list" I'm just doing my daily missions for feds and trying to get some rank ups. I think your looking at the wrong person.

Just like how you attack unshielded targets? YOUR the one who is weak and foolish. But... you know, you'll get whats coming to you one day. And I'll make sure I'll deliver the punishment for what you did awhile ago. But then again, you'll be the coward and hide behind your allies and run when your outnumbered.

But I won't continue this argument. Lets just have fun! :D

Well if you must know.
Once sold at a station They start to infect the station
1 won't do much but it only takes 2 to power down a station.
Only thing you can do is refuel

Apparently on pc side 3 where sold at a station and even the stations guns went offline
The more you sell at once or in quick succession the more damage and effect it has on the station and system.

I don't know what more then 3 will do as it's never been done
But I've organised for hopefully 4 or 5 to get sold at a station on the weekend

So we shall see.

From what I heard, the stations guns start to shoot at anyone and if a lot get sold, the station goes boom

Just for accuracy's sake, many more than 3 UA's have been sold at stations by the PC crowd. Seems to take quite a high volume to start affecting station services, but it can be done.

You are correct sir. I was just clarifying that various groups (Canonn and Sirius Inc) experimentation with UAs seems to show that a considerable qty need to be sold at a station to begin disrupting services, not just 4 or 5. It could make quite an interesting player driven event though.
