VJ Video Review Federal Corvette

Gday Guys, welcome to my first ship review of the upcoming Federal Corvette.

With some initial reservations, I have come to discover that the Corvette is extremely potent when used correctly, and the dual class 4 PA's are not only brutal, but are quite usable and effective in combat.

I have done comparisons with the Anaconda, but not the cutter, as I feel the cutter is not really in competition with the corvette. Some people might disagree with me, but its just my view.

Not finished watching yet, but I must say there is something wrong with the audio. Your voice is very difficult to understand, it seems there is far too much bass or too little of the other frequencies, plus it's like something disturbs the microphone or something like that (not an audio expert here).

The voice quality was a bit strange. Other than that, great video. Really got to see what the Corvette is capable of. I'd love to see one of these done for the Imperial Cutter next, as that's what I plan on getting when I get the funds.

Great video, would love to have seen some conflict zone combat. The audio was fine for me.

Solid review but I still wouldn't buy one (or a Conda or Cutter) big ships just aren't my thing.

How about a review of the Cobra mk4? or being serious the Asp Scout

Its weird, some people I have spoken to say there is nothing wrong with it, others are having problems... wonder if its a youtube thing?

I have a Courier and an FDL and thought that would be all I am really interested in, now add the Corvette to that. Will take a while to get that money that's fine

Have to agree with you. Use a similar set up as you too. I would say that it also has a unique game play style. No other ship really plays like it. My only gripe about the ship as a whole is it is not as good as the Anaconda for endurance pve gameplay. The lack of sustainable fire power over the course of an hour is readily apparent in comparison. That said anything bigger than an Asp is getting to die faster against a good Vette pilot.

I would also like to point out a strategy I use against ships with the Vette. I wait till I wear down the shield with the lasers first then I use the alpha damage against power plants and it can kill ships like the Python and Anaconda in the water that way rather quickly.

I think I know what the audio issue is for some. I have 2 PCs in our home and one has 2 desktop logitech speakers which have a mid bright sound to them (actually just noticed it has a tone control and it has a more treble setting currently) and the other has a subwoofer on the ground as well which is very bassy.

I find it difficult often to hear speaking properly on youtube videos on the one with the subwoofer but have no problem with the desktop only speaker setup.

The one with the subwoofer is where I play ED and the bass volume on the back of the subwoofer is not set for voice but music/gaming.

I have only watched this one so far on the desktop setup and it is fine on that.

I liked the review, and agree with it. I have one in the beta(for the most part A rated).
And she is definitely a beast. If you are good at hitting with the A4 PA's then you will
absolutely love love love that ship.
In my opinion she's a large ship killer.
As for the audio, I am from Canada, and I understood everything VJ said.

The only thing I would add is the canopy seems to take a major beating more often than
not.

loved the review and having tried it - agree. The only thing that i would mention, in my trials I found with the new shield cell buffs the 2 class 7 spots provide better replacement than a class 6.

They educate about the game as well as giving an overview of the vehicle, which is something that's always useful to watch.
