Raxxla

[Begin Transmission]

CMDRs….Right now CIRG and other such science-y organizations are dedicated to the UAs, as they have shown themselves to be an immediate threat to the safety of the Galaxy…

But, there are other things out there, other mysteries….

Now, I believe it is time for us to pursue more, pursue those things that many believe not to exist.

Of course, As I’m sure you’ve figured out, I’m talking about the Legend of all Legends, Raxxla. The Children of Raxxla are always searching, but they've cone up with no more than the rest of us. Raxxla, the mythical planet said to exist far outside of our reach, a planet older than the galaxy itself, a planet believed by many to hold a gateway to other Universes….

And it is real, I have a couple reliable sources, the CMDRs known as “Braben”, “Holdstock”, and “Wagar”, who have confirmed that it does indeed exist.

This is a call to all those intrepid Explorers of the Galaxy, those who aren’t afraid to get lost in order to discover new and exiciting things.

It is time, Fellow CMDRs, It is time to find the legend….

It is time to find Raxxla.

Just saying but there are a few systems way out there that need permits, maybe just maybe its in one of those

There's also a lot of unexplored systems as it is. Going by the statistics FD released before. Around 3-4% of the Galaxy has been explored.

There's also, How will we know once we've found it? Is it actually Called Raxxia?

I'd spell it correctly too. ;) RaxxLa.

Don't expect to solve this one any time soon, I suspect it's going to be bigger than the Thargoids.

Cheers,

Drew.

Bahgawd!

The Lore Composer himself hath replied on my thread!
All bow before the man himself, Mr. Wagar!

In all seriousness, this is the coolest thing ever, having the man himself respond to this!

I'm sure I'm not worthy to be mentioned in the same company as Messrs. Braben and Holdstock. That folks have enjoyed my story is a great delight to me, as I said in the intro - "It's by a fan, for the fans." I'm just grateful to have had the opportunity to add a little of my own flavour to a universe I have loved from childhood - that's been an honour and a privilege. Elite: Reclamation was written with a lot of passion for Elite.

I will never forget that 500 odd (mostly strangers from the internet) folks backed my crazy idea to run a Kickstarter so I could afford the original license fee. I only wrote the book, it's the fans that made the dream happen, believed in it, encouraged me along the way. I'd love to take another run at it sometime - we'll see what the future holds.

But it's the fans that make this game, the community is what inspires and excites. Back at you folks. <bows> :)

Cheers,

Drew.
