Balancing CG Event A SNOWGLOBE'S CHANCE (RARE TRADE)

Is this likely to get a balancing pass?
Since it's got about 3days left to run, has had 96,100+ tonnes collected and 2,500 contributors, but yet it hasn't tipped tier 1 yet.
With it being a limited commodity (12) that takes about 25mins round trip (obviously ship dependant 20lyr jump range in my case) to deliver said 12 items, it's a pretty slow one to increase, and shouldn't be at the same level as other CG's that don't have a limit to the amount of stuff that can be dropped off.
I mean, even if I dropped the average trip time to 20mins, and said every commander carried the full 12 on each trip, then that's 96100/12 = ~ 8008 *20mins = 160160mins = 2670 hrs of gameplay (111 days or nearly 16weeks!!) invested by the players, for what currently stands at 0 reward !

Why not hook up with a mate. You fill his ship with hundreds of snow globes. Make one journey. Return and he fills yours.

It's a community goal so why not work together? We are all hauliers after all and any RL logistics company would jump at the chance to reduce their road time. (Witch space time!)

Just a thought.

Wouldn't they then be Illegal salvage ? (or have they changed that rule?) and thus not sellable to the station on the Commodities market

No, use the abandon option to transfer cargo legally between players.

Ah.... So sorta defeats the entire mechanism then, mind you that'll still take a while at a guess, have a mate sitting outside (the no fire zone I guess due to fines for dumping cargo?) in a cutter (say), and then ferry 12 back and forth.
Nice little earner though, 8.5k * 792 (maxed out cargo) - 6.7mill a trip

At this point I should point out this isn't my idea. I pirated it from someone else. the idea is a solid one though and does work. For the sake of the CG I suggest you all try it.

As long as your wingman doesn't take off with 500 tons of snow domes you just paid for...

They don't generally take any notice of community goals once they are launched, they tend to get bug reported on a weekly basis, and personally I'm tired of doing it. I'm meant to be playing a game and having to interact with a support team every 5 minutes kind of ruins it for me.

If you want to see them fix it you will have to let them know, otherwise it will continue as it is.

Just for your reference, this is how it stands at the moment..

Contrary to popular belief, that doesn't magically make it the ten times as effective as we need.

That.
Even if you took off with your 12 globes and immediately unloaded them to your wingmate, it will take another 10 minutes for the station to cough up the new batch. And filling up a Conda or T-9 (not to mention the Cutter) with max 12 globes per flight would take ages.
.
FD basically set a normal trading CG asking for rare goods. I don't know if it's accidental or intentional. To all the poor souls who still hope to profit from it: forget it, switch to your combat ships and come and hel with bounty hunting CG at Hel. This one can reach Tier 2.

All recent CGs have gone totally bonkers on the requirements. While the rare trading one is particularly ridiculous, I don't really expect the others to move past tier 3 before timeout. At present I think FD want them to fail.
