Hi Sandy, good to see you outside the DDF. I've got to say you guys who manage us DDF folk really keep a positive face on the boards despite all our nitpicking, criticisms and completely-out-of-whack fanboi ideas we come up with. Its been really great interacting with you lot. :smilie:

Thanks both of you for interview, excellent read! :) It is very nice to hear that you as main designer care about what I see as "the meat of the game" - event system. I can't wait to see it in action too, because that will be what will make us coming back for more. It is also interesting from programming and design POV, because while I can imagine such system being not very hard to design, it will take time to perfect it to the point when it feels at least some part of entropy.

Btw, at what point this will be tested? During normal beta?

It's almost as if having a cool-sounding name is somewhat of a requirement to be employed by FD. At least I suspect it's a great advantage when applying.

Yeah.. you know I sadly have a finger in the eye sort of style, all well intentioned of course, but it certainly doesn't help me make friends, but upon reflection even in the onslaught of strong critique, when facing the fire, the crew at Frontier treat us all with respect.

I just don't know how they all seem to be so Zenned out. :S
