Exiting Hyper Space in Black Hole System

I've ran into the issue of not being able to stop before emergency stopping when jumping into a system with a black hole as the primary star. This is especially troubling since the release of 1.5 I can't seem to zero the throttle at any time prior to exiting hyper space.

You can zero the throttle during the countdown still. At least last I tried. I'll give her a go next jump.

(EDIT) Yup, hold LT during the countdown.

Yeah, something happened with the last update to where we can no longer throttle down during hyperspace. Right before the jump, however, when the computer says "4, 3, 2, 1, Engage" you can throttle down during that time.

While I was out exploring and jumping into a BH or Neutron Star system, I got into the habit of actually looking down at the throttle during the countdown to make sure I took it all the way down.

Have they changed it now so when you take a BB mission and you go to the galaxy map for the system to log a route you can now log the route directly to the station where before you could only do the route to the system then you had to target the station. Although in your case this isn't particularly useful.

Plotting routes form station to station is fixed inside the bubble with low cargo.. cus it seems its working for me.

However, if im hauling big cargo outside the bubble, my route resets after every single jump.. (last time i checked, 3 days ago)

This. Since white dwarfs are the bane of bigger ships like the Python, Anaconda, and now the Corvette, and Cutter I have been watching my throttle go down during the countdown to make absolutely sure that I actually throttled down as I'm really forgetful and its caught me out a few times now.

Hold LT? Do you use a special controller or something? Because it doesn't work for most of us.
Either hold LT or if like me you have it set up to step down, then repeatedly press LT until you are at zero throttle. This will only work during countdown and not in hyperspace.

Handy hint!
If you alt tab out of the game during a jump when you arrive in system the throttle automatically sets itself to zero - therefore no heat damage or running into stars!
Once you have arrived in system alt tab back into the game and start scanning!
Saved me loads on repair bills when neutron star scanning
Happy to share such tips!

Didn't work, in-fact I am now stuck inside a black hole but for some reason there are so many books here.. please send help.

He means the Left Bumper to throttle down.

It still doesn't help against systems with BH as a primary though. Is there any way of not getting so close that you can read the books?

I don't think there is, it's why I haven't set out on long range expedition yet.
I seem to remember a couple of days before 1.5 that I was dropping out of FTL a lot closer to stars,
I could be wrong on this, just my perception, and that combined with the throttle change,
well I just hope FD considers changing both.

No the name is Mcfly, Marty Mcfly.

That's nonsense. It sounds like the plot to a truely horrible movie.

Thought I was the only one that found that movie a complete cluster xxxx everybody else seems to love it.
I've not had that much of an issue with the throttle change but I don't fly outside the bubble or one of the three massive ships.

Eh? Works just fine for me. I free-look at the throttle when Im almost charged, and hold LB as soon as the countdown starts. My throttle is usually zero'd by 2.

I have recently visited Sag A, The Great Annihilator and a couple of neutron stars with no drama whatsoever.
