Ok, I can see this is becoming a bit redundant now...

You have your opinion, and I can respect that. Others share mine.

FD made a big CG around this very method of helping everyone and I think that gets their vote of support.

Do excuse me now, I have 10 minutes to wait before my allocation respawns, I really wish it was seconds.

i would load up a t9 myself,532 tons,no shields,and rince it if my wife let me on it lol......i dont recall thete being a noobs charity a year ago when i played....you gotta make it the hard way like we all did.

id rince this for all its worth,exploit?...its a video game....rules are made to be broken

A slight over reaction there I feel. It's not an exploit is it? If the Devs didn't want people to carry more Rares then you only be allowed to carry 20. They are very very much aware of people playing the game this way.

Which The Truckers were doing last night. We even had Christmas skins on our ships and were giving away goodies to help out a new player. I even had a Santa hat on while doing it .... Doesn't get more Christmassy than that.

Having flown with Jesters on a number of occasions I know he doesn't need the credits, he buys fuel scoops worth more than my fleet :) He's using a valid method to help the CG progress which will help new players.

Until ED suggest otherwise (and you shouldn't hold your breathe), truckers will continue to truck...

How is that an exploit? That would imply that you are not allowed more than 20t of Rares ... Ever. The game mechanic is to only allow a maximum number of Rares in your hold. If you buy those and then sell them, give them away, lose them to pirates, you can get more.

if FD had an issue with this, and I assume they don't as they know The Hutton Truckers do this in our convoy events ... Then they can change the respawn time of Rares.

Back to Chrsitmas stuff and maybe I'll join TH03BGT in buying lots and lots of the best rare item of all The Hutton Mug and spread them all over the Galaxy ... Oh wait we've already done that in the Educating Ed #6 .... Watch it if you haven't it was a hoot. We've even left The Hutton Mug at Sag A .... At last count 54 Truckers had done just that.

in fact TH03BGT did it twice as he went back to help out a fellow Trucker who had lost a Mug in a star and cargo hatch related incident :)

So the CG is over now right? If that's right what ship did the newbies get out of curiosity? I didn't partake myself since there didn't seem to be a point since they didn't say we'd be getting bonus cash rewards to offset the fact that we got nothing extra from the completion of the community goal like in the past for most players.

I would. Sadly I can't due to bugs in the game. I'm pretty much bound to not travel at all, which means I'm not playing much unless I'm up for some pew pew in a res site.

Or maybe I don't play all that often, focus on multiple things when I do play and don't have the rank for a Cutter. I don't think I'm extremely well off its just don't see the point doing a CG where the route is probably just 550k per round trip when I can find a route that makes 700k+ one way and then another 100-200k profit the other way back to the start.

I am surprised you'd fly such a poorly paying route. You should be making at least 1500k on a round trip in an Anaconda if you value your profits higher than this CG :)

They just wouldn't have that 20 ton limit if they intended for you to just circumvent it by having others crowdfund.

I have spent the last 2 days Paying for 20 tons at a time and giving it to other players. What is wrong with that !!!!

This is a community goal helping new players advance.
