What jump-range do you have?

Here is a list of my last 39 jumps (~ 600 LYs distance from BP, ~1,040 LYs to travel) to BP 4 weeks ago. Except the penultimate jump (33.40) the longest jump is 31.89.

It's a pity that we are not able to reduce jump-range manually, that would make it easier to work out a less-jumponium-use-route to BP.

+1 That's a better route than the one I approached from as it by-passes some of the longer jumps. :)

that's gold for the expedition! So a 25LY max jumprange ship to reach Beagle Point, needs:
14 LVL 1 boosts
12 LVL 2 boosts

then there's the coming back, so safety for such ships to make to beagle point and come back is:
28 LVL 1 Boosts
24 LVL 2 Boosts

For a total of materials:
80 Vanadium
52 Germanium
48 Cadmium
24 Niobium

Not too harsh, can be done.

Also the minimal jumprange to not use boost is 33.4 in theory, if you have to go on fumes for that with an ASP you should consider the around 6T of fuel needed to jump, so REAL MAX JUMPRANGE REQUIRED TO NOT BOOST IS 34.

In one of the linked Videos I noticed someone having a greenish HUD but with red warning/heat etc. lights. If someone knows how to do that, please pm me... Especially if you know a way to get that with a mostly blue HUD!

On topic: I'd love to take part, but I have limited playing time and am currently away from home. Will be able to join once I get back to my computer.

So I assume there are other routes requiring smaller jump ranges? ie: How did an Asp get there before? (It can't make 37.7LY jumps?)

Yes, I was curious on this. It's stated a 34 LY jump range minimum to get to Beagle Point but a few of the hops in that route a bit longer....

See post 2620 for a route that has shorter jumps. Yes there are quite a few routes you can take, right down to the final few jumps.

I won't be coming with you guys, but I've checked out the Tsakhmet system (Pristine), 11.85 LY from Pallaeni, for materials, in case it helps. There's some useful stuff there if you need to do last minute collection.

Body:

A1 (HMC) Polonium, Molybdenum

A2 (HMC) Niobium

A3 (HMC) Germanium, Tin, Niobium

A5 (HMC) Technitum, Tin

A6 (Icy) Zirconium, Cadmium, Yttrium

A7 (Icy) Technitum

All materials were found in or close to large craters. Mesosiderites and Metallic meteorites only. This was not an extensive survey, and there may be other materials I have missed.

It's an anarchy system with frequent interdictions - so be prepared.
