Wiki is very out of date, so don't rely on it.
Pretty sure someone did the plasma accellerator, and I literally popped one with an SRV turret tonite, though I'm not the first.

Sorry for asking this again, but has anyone had a good listen to the comms chatter you hear when you are locked onto a base in any planetary schematic map
It is the same audio in every map/base I have looked at.
Some garbled voices and what sounds like morse code deing repeated over and over.
I know nothing about morse code, but it may be worth a quick listen

Hidden planet?
I might be missing the obvious but I'm intrigued by a planetoid I noticed while exploring Merope, it may be a bug but it doesn't appear on the ship scans, doesn't show in the system map and yet is landable.
I've attached a video showing the selection of all system objects orbiting Merope 2, none of which are the planetoid, and finally an advanced scan showing no new objects found. Almost certainly said before, but the Aliens might be INSIDE the bubble, going by EL's and DB's reaction on the Christmas stream, and remember that the first UAs were found in Federal convoys...
Sound is definitely in play right now. There are some things in the sound that have not been discovered yet. I've picked up odd unique sounds as well.
While investigating some of my other ideas I stumbled upon the not-uncommon gas giant with water based life. Made me think. Barnacles are water based life, right? Maybe we need to spend more time searching the moons of gas giants with water based life, or moons of water worlds. Perhaps the barnacles are common in systems with water based life. Starting to grasp at straws, but seems like a decent connection.
Barnacles are mentioned in the Meta-Alloys description in-game. But there are also "barnicle" POI game files.
Water based? you mean real ones or the ones of the game?
Well nothing happened. Now off to search for my moral compass which seems to have disappeared.
