Never mind all the moaners, complainers, haters... I like ED and I am sure there are many others here who like it too
You should take 'complainers' out of that sentence really, because it's important to listen to customer complaints about a product.

No it means it takes 10 years to develop and finish the game... I have no idea what excuse you are talking about? Personally, I brought in at beta, and knew it would be a long haul before the final expansion would be released and I also knew that the game would continually be bug fixed and tweaked etc along the whole development cycle, and that is the context I brought into and that is the context in which I play...
I accept there are 'bugs' and I try to do my part with beta testing, bug reporting etc, I also do not experience some of the 'problems' people complain about as so called broken such as interdictions being too hard or smuggling being broken or rewards for missions not being enough or friendly fire bounty system being broken just to name a few of the complaints and often accompanying 'rants' that often show up here on the forums.
I do experience bugs and 'problems' with the game from time to time as is to be expected for something that is under continual development and I won't try to sugarcoat that in any way, and I don't bother 'ranting' in the forums about it, often it will be discussed on the forums and I will either add my experience with said problem to an existing discussion on it or start a new thread if appropriate...

OP, I agree with you 100%. I also love the game despite its flaws which I have faith will be addressed in good time.

No, just let me stop you right there........... The "10 year plan" does NOT regard game development, its already been launched and SOLD. The 10 year plan regards ADDITIONAL content and expansion. They need to sort the base game before even looking at more content, at present its little more than a credit grind with a few nice graphics and NOTHING to grab the player. Couple this with really bad design flaws and you have ED, coulda SHOULDA been awesome, its rather tepid to be quite honest.
Indeed I will make that a new years resolution... to change it to 'ranters'
Complaining and valid criticisms are good for the developers...
Ranting and explosive decompressions of the synaptic nerves (aka brainfarts) are entertaining for the rest of us but really do not do much for the devs when those reactions are actually about working but tweaked mechanics...

I am un...happy too. I have not played horizons yet outside of 30 mins in beta. My 1st baby was born on Xmas eve and so exhausted even ED can't entice me to fire up the gaming rig in my few spare mins

It's a lifechanger and likely to frustrate you more at times than any bugs in ED 
All the moaners and haters (but oddly still play the game so it can't be that bad) just need to be patient but in this world of instant gratification there will be those that can't handle that.
Elite Dangerous will evolve with greater features and depth as time goes on. I guarantee that in 3 years time we will look back on how it is now and wonder how we possibly coped!
As technology improves so will Elite. I'm even hoping that at some point in the far future the game will include the ability to explore the dwarf galaxies (Pegasus etc) and that the deep space encounters will be new races with their own ships and technology. The latter would be a good improvement for explorers as it would give a real sense of danger so travelling in wings (either human or NPC) will become a real must.
Patience patience patience.

Or perhaps those people see the wood from the trees.. the reason peeps think there is no content, is because there is SO MUCH CHOICE that they get snowblind and think there is 'nothing on TV' - it boils down to either can't see it, or cannot be
to see it - if its the later, then this is more to do with burn out or your desire to have a linear experience instead, in which case take a break and go play something else. Elite is a true sand box.. have you tried making your own fun? Like Destruction Derby or other stuff that Kate Russell has done?

Why bother with the forum of a game you don't intend to play ?.

I guess you never played Mechwarrior Online. You should sometime. After you go back and experience the first few years of development and play... you come back here and tell us what you think about Frontier. I guarantee that you'll look at them a different (and in a positive) way.
I am very pleased with what Frontier has pulled off so far.

Agree OP, all in all the game is coming along very nicely. I'm having more fun than is reasonable driving around in the srv looking for special rocks to shoot so I can refuel the srv to find more rocks. And this is only the beginning. The full scale looting/crafting update should be awesome!

I was not given a refund, only PART refund, they let me keep the game (really nice of them, not). I like you enjoy the idea that was sold to me, but it wasnt really delivered was it? I accept that people have valid opinions just like me, shame others on here cannot see past their "I'm alright jack, stuff you" attitude.
