The amiga version was a bit of a disappointment to me. Solid conversion but the pirate attacks felt so forced, every time you came out of hyperspace in any system you had to defend against the attacker first.

I did a bit of much more poorly edited nostalgic sillyness myself last night. Might amuse commodore owners.

I hate to sound like I am complaining, especially as I have provided precisely zero videos, but I expected to see the whole station entering sequence before moving on to the new one.

The first cut had exactly that, but I didn't like the flow of the video so decided to merge the two.

This is a very good idea and what is there is nicely done, but the idea is so good it deserves more attention.

Would love to see something similar which includes:
  • Elite Wire-frame version (BBC Elite would be preferable)
  • Elite basic filled polygon version (PC CGA Elite, NES Elite)
  • Elite improved filled polygon version (Amiga Elite, Elite+, Arc Elite)
  • Frontier: Elite II
  • Frontier: First Encounters
  • Elite: Dangerous

It would be "Elite Evolution", although that last one is a Revolution.

I will do on the next video, I wanted to have the Blue Danube play as its the classic music for the game....
