Systems that "has it all"

Hi guys.

I'm looking for a system that "has it all" so to speak.

What i mean by this is:

  • Stations that sell most possible ships
  • Good discounts on said ships (equipment too if possible)
  • Pristine metallic rings on a planet
  • Haz RES
  • Planets with docking stations
  • Preferably Federally alligned
  • Things not being thousands of ls away from each other.

Does anyone know of a such system?
Powerplay not important!

If you know of systems that match many or most of the criteria please post them here so that others may also find what they are looking for!

I don't know about all, but Jameson Memorial in Shinrarta Dezhra has all purchasable ships and modules at 10% discount. It's permit locked, being a kickstarter or earning an elite rank gets you the permit.

So you basically want to do everything in one system without ever having to visit any of the other 400 billion systems ? Lazy much ?

No, if that was the case I would also have asked for a system where I could do all of my exploration - but I didn't.
At some point I WILL be trying out exploration, but not now.

I simply vary my playstyle much but don't fancy jumping 100 LY every time I want to change from Bounty Hunting to Mining.

Pff.. 100 LY.. guess you never did the Hutton run or the Sothis CG ;)
Tip: spread your ships around a little and use a fast diamondback scout to hop from one region to the other.

This ^^ except I use a long range Haulertaxi.

At least it gets me "out of the house". :)

Closest I can think of to your requirements is HIP 16607.

HIP 16607 is a High Tech economy system, with the Coriolis station of Thome Gateway located only 60Ls from the Pristine Metallic rings of HIP 16607 1 A. The ring orbits slowly clockwise, allowing for several hours of sunlit mining if you drop at 3 o'clock to the planet's shadow. The station itself is a High Tech wonder, with the various Outfitters being able to provide most modules. For bigger purchases and a 15% discount, Li Yong-Rui territory is only 38LY away at Arjung, which is another High Tech system with excellent outfitting and shipyards.


Politically, however, this is Imperial space with both Denton Patreus and Emperor Arissa Lavigny-Duval controlled systems within close proximity. Just a favour I ask of you...pretty please (with sugar on top) don't come back to the forum in a week or two and tell us the game lacks depth!

Did ALD lose HIP 16607 recently? Last I knew we were an ALD control point. It is a good system, and you'll find an active player based faction there as well (Red Dice Systems...check us out on BRTD.net) who are a bunch of somewhat space-addled miners and bounty hunters ;) You can also find Federal systems within 1-2 jumps, so you don't have to go far from home to grind Fed rank, and there's a few good Li Yong Rui systems within about 50ly for better outfitting of non-Imperial ships.

I don't know. I'm not Red Dice, nor do I PP. I actually had no idea there was a player faction in HIP 16607. I mined it heavily (several hours a day) during the Christmas break and only ever saw one other CMDR. :)

Ah, in that case you should join up with us...you'll find that we're a pretty friendly bunch, and are always willing to run security for miners ;) As for PP factions...well, we run the gamut, but mostly are unaligned. I'm ALD aligned myself though, since before she was crowned Emperor, since I like her politics.

you can't get a Shinrarta Dezhra permit with mission anyway, you need to get an Elite ranking.

I don't think there is any other system that sellss everything, I also don't know if SD has a haz res or pristine metallic rings. I really don't think there is a system that has all that, you will have to get friends with the idea of going to more then one system I'm afraid ^^

I've been away and back.
Have no intention of whining about game content.
This is basically what I am trying to help myself to NOT do. I vary my playstyle to NOT get bored and feel like the game is shallow.
