I used to get this game,back in the mid 80s and for the first 6 months of launch.......now retired billionaire with no incentive to do anything jeff,cant even undock these days lol....and the thought of going through it again kills me.....will wait for fps style gameplay to be added for walking around ships and planet settlements and all that cool stuff.
Take up exploring and wikipedia your way through the astrophysics entries.

Hmm... I'd say getting it is a state and not an action in this case, so present simple is applicable.

I appreciate your effort,but jeff....all the systems look the same with different names and with planets scattered in a random order.......I will do it if I can find a distant thargoid world that I can land on,and walk to some ancient ruin where I scan there scribes and hyroglph type stuff,then maybey murder a few of them.
I want to live a virtual space life,not just a pilot you see.

Different strokes for different folks, yes, I'd love to do that too (well, except for the murdering), but I do love exploring the intricacies of our galaxy. But I'm an astrophysics nerd so I love that stuff.

sounds like you would get on well with Ziljan mate...hes a astro nutter aswell ha ha....
you know what,id actually like a game that allows me to live on board a massive star trek style ship with a ton of crew...preferebly npc aswell as player...and actually go off on a exploration adventure....but the problem is computers power still doesnt live up to the power of my own vision of the ultimate space opera.....yet
