Guess you weren't happy with the new movie, or the complete disregard of the extended universe, or was it the horrible super child oriented shows that are now Cannon, or the fact that now its official via Disney that Greedo shot first, or that hayden Christensen is now the offical ghost at the end of Return? I could go on

I disregard anything Disney. What George Whatshislastname held as canon when he sold Star Wars is what I go by. I didn't mind the prequels. They were Star Wars, just as much as Splinters of the Mind's Eye was Star Wars.

I would have forgiven George if whinakin skywalker had lightsabered a certain cgi menace in episode 3, maybe trying to defend the younglings to give any rare fans a noble ending for that meat sack. The new one is good as brings it back to the feel of the originals by carbon copying the plot of episode 4 but it skates over too many characters which obviously had more to give plot wise

I liked the prequels, if only because, however your opinion, it tells how old Palps got his face. It also explains the throwaway Clone Warts line Sir Guiness mentioned. At least the prequels were original plots (barring the Phantom Menace (the plot of a single snub fighter piloted by a Skywalker taking out a large craft is only a smaller part of the overall movie)).
