Beautiful sentiment, but it is not my job to inspire. It is FD's job to make the game the best it can be.

Changing this one thing would make every part of PVP, so much more risky and overall exciting. It would have a knock on effect to reducing "griefing" .

Approach would change and you couldnt get the gang ho murder hobo squads killing everything that moves, very much like what is happening in Robigo at the moment.

Why?... simple because a player group could stop then and send them to the rebuy screens or at least have a damn good attempt.

Sadly you would be up against SDC and they are very good.

high-waking, but nothing seems to have come out of it.

I have three my VA sends out on the command Send standard hail.

"Attention vessel, kill your engines and surrender x amount of cargo(depending on my ship and the VA profile set for that ship) or you will be fired upon."

"Hello, We are taking donations for the Gold Plated Battleship for every Child Fond. Please drop x amount of cargo or you will be fired upon. Because Children." That one is for the LegitBiz crew founded by Ambassador Rezri.

"Stop your ship, drop you cargo or die. Make it fast, I got things to do." My VA rarely uses that one.

i do my greifing along side my pirating, does this make me a bad CMDR? sure , does it make me a bad person NO, I'M STILL A HUMAN BEING mostly , every one in there mama kills other cmdrs , i mean i usually get interdicted by to losers in a fdl daily, is it my fault i destroy there ships because i don't feel like giving them mercy? no

Anyone who interdicts me is not entitled to any mercy. Either you destroy me, I destroy you, or you high wake away. Mercy is reserved for those who I interdict and are convinced to comply.

open is devoid of loser, i do my part to maintain that, if you cant take open by all means play solo

the name of the game is elite dangerous(incase you didnt know), and i plan to keep it dangerous

The Dangerous has to do with the combat rank required to join a certain group, it has nothing to do with PvP, welcome to Elite: Dangerous, we do hope you enjoy the game and perhaps can be bothered to actually learn something about the universe it's set in!

You don't do anything to keep it dangerous, you only serve to feed groups like Mobius new members, literally driving away the very players whom you rely on for your fun. That sounds more to me like the loser is in Open, not in Solo, since you are the one losing. Might want to keep that in mind next time you decide to, as you yourself state, grief other players, which, by the by, is one of those little no-nos that FD has stated we're not supposed to be doing in the game. Instead, say that you are playing a serial killer or some other form of socio or psychopathic personality type, that keeps you from saying you are breaking the ToS. Just a little friendly advice.

My spiel was simple, 'stand by for scan, if you run, you die', and that was it. Simple, direct and to the point, objective and threat stated outright so there's no way for the victim to mistake my intent and do something stupid by 'accident'. Most of them immediately started boosting and trying to run away, some made it, some didn't.

But as pirating is about as much fun as trading, only not as profitable, I gave it up.

People who want to be happy profitable pirates need to pressure FD to fix the way "pirating" works, or or your targets will continue to fly elsewhere. Nobody has any idea what your real intentions are until the encounter is over, and by that time it's too late to find out if you're lying. It only makes sense for a victim to comply if they're in one of the slowest ships made, with no hope of boosting away.
