Servers down?

Been trying to connect for the last 15mins and all i get is 'Can't connect to Frontier servers' on the main menu screen. Anyone else suffering?

A more relevant error message in the ED game client might be a good idea, to simply inform the uninformed. Perhaps a maintenance flag that can be set and read by the game client (Maintenance Mode).

I saw a post in the bug reports forum mentioning that they did not receive the correct powerplay income level this morning. I would suspect that something has gone awry and rather than keep us informed they're using the 'blinkers' approach to solve. Eventually someone will realise that it's not an easy fix as first thought and might decide to let us know.

Is a something wrong an hour down, i don't mind but some info would be appreciated, if its not coming back up just us know no problem. we will all find something else to do for a while. its only the expectation that causes annoyance, don't make silly mistake.

It just let me in after waiting at the main menu for a few minutes. The connection string down the bottom left seemed odd though.

My game launcher shows server status as ok in green, but I still cant log in

Looks like there's a problem for certain countries then most likely. I'll try again and I'm in too

Yep, just did a 70LY trip and handed in a mission. Sitting at the starport perusing BB while typing this.

Its now showing servers up for me but when I try to connect just get the spinning ship.
