Another poll isn't a bad idea seeing as we now have a bit of information to go on. But I think you missed out the "Wait and See" option.
I will definitely buy either the CV1 or VIVE. I will be listening the opinions of the people on this forum come March/May time when those headsets reach them.

No I didn't. This is a poll to illustrate the intent to purchase as it stands today so that Frontier have some assessment of the need for development resource.
from the info i have so far, I think i'll be sticking with the DK2 for a bit.. seems the CV1 is only a slight upgrade from that. when the option to run 1.5 ss on ultra settings without SLi latency is available I think i'll be a happy camper..not trying to poopoo on your thread.. I soooooo wanted a CV1 before I read a first hand review..

My DK2 worked on my iMac quite well. Had to lower the settings quite a bit though due to the GPU iMacs have. In the end I decided to just build a top spec PC (980ti in SLI) just to play ED. Crazy I know.
I will be keeping my DK2 around for a bit - however with that said I will purchase either the Oculus or the Vive depending on what each system has to offer for the price point as well as game compatibility. I did select both systems as per comments above although it would have been nice to see an option for a definite purchase of one or the other as this may skew you numbers around a bit.

Already got my CV1 preorder. I firmly believe the rift will have the better comfort & optics. Room-scale VR is cool, but not very important for games like elite.
Deliberately so because I want Frontier to hear from people who KNOW what they are ordering so Frontier can assess the required development based on the interest shown.
I already pre-ordered the rift but I think this poll will be a bad example of how many players will get one. I mean how many players actually check the forums on a regular basis? Everyone I know might do it monthly if that. So people like that would never even see this poll.
