Sensitive topic? It's not spreading rumors to voice ones experiences and the conclusions they have drawn from them.
One can draw any conclusion they wish, however, when the conclusion has close ties to an organization that have spoken on the issue that contradicts the conclusion, one should know to add "this is my speculation..." "knowing that this contradicts the official statement of [insert relevant organization name/person name]..."
If one is to assert something contradictory to the official statement of an organization and insist that it is the truth, then it's simple libel at that point.

Biowaste and scrap maybe. Aren't traders generally carrying cargo worth more than their rebuy? So why would they blow it out the hatch? By the time you're desperate enough to do that death is probably certain anyhow.

Simple Libel if it is in fact not true. Just because an organization has published a public stance on a matter doesn't mean it is truth in action. To be libel, it has to be false, ans the speaker/typist has to know it is not true.
Well, not if it's true. Organizations are known to lie... or at least stretch the truth, when it's in their best interest. This can even be done somewhat unintentionally as they have a vested interest and bias.
Not saying that's the case here though, of course. Just elaborating on one of the many reasons I take everything someone else has to say with a grain or two of salt.

Right, organizations do lie quite often to secure their interests. The public/media often finds in its best interest to portray the organizations in ways that fit their understanding/agenda.
There's simply a conflict of interest, and there has been ruling in favor of media and corporations to maintain a relative balance between the two.
If people just make fun of an organization for laughter's sake, not many would care, and some would even embrace it for PR purposes and free advertisement.
I am actually on the relative loose end of the spectrum.

I'm sorry. I just had this hilarious notion of Gluttony stopping a T6 and barking for cargo, and a half hour later he's still going on with the guy about Gertz v. Robert Welch, Inc. - Gertz 1, Robert Welch 0. The least productive pirate stop in history, excepting of course the quality conversation.
