This could be something worth trying, but I think it will still point to the main star of Merope. Anyone here who wants to sacrifice their UA?

Oops, this is my last post of today!
Cmdr Zaratan yesterday (post #8628) said he'd observed a UA dropped on a planet surface rolling until it aligned with another UA when the rolling stopped for no apparent reason & then their song was coordinated, so maybe there is a real link between them (quantum entanglement? Witchspace? who knows!).

Can we take two UAs to a planet, drop them from SRVs & take bearings from their alignment (could do with one UA but quicker with two or even three)- might give a cross-bearing to an area of Space Barnacles & allow us to cut down the search time... just idel speculation since nobody seems to have picked up on Cmdr Zaratan's video.

Okay just back from an all afternoon flight over the moons Merope 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D. I super cruised in orbit and also got low (bit too low at times :eek:) but found nothing but bases with data points that only give a reward if handed in to the Empire and surface mining facilities. Shot every mining device but nothing but expected materials (hence why i am in Obsidian orbital selling these fragments and tea, so much tea). Going to take a break then going to try an idea, rather random thought i had, if the barnacles are organic and have any relation to real world barnacles, then maybe moons that are both rocky and icy (barnacles are found on rocks and in water, i know random and unlikely) might be worth checking out. So far the only worlds that i know have icy/rocky moons are a few in Maia, so i will be checking them out in a little while. If this does not pan out, then back to Merope for more searching.

Heading to Atlas system to investigate the 4 planets that are landable.

Not sure if craters would be the most likely place to find them,I'm looking for canyons, mounds, places more errosive suit barnacles. Also in mythology Atlas's mountain, it could be out there as a giant barnacle.

Still no luck, but another observation from the trailer:
Before the important shot, I spotted an crashed Anaconda behind the crashed T9. What if the Barnacles make our/all ships crash. That might mean, that we have to find a collection of crashed ships before we find the barnacles.

This theory is not as sound as the gravity one, but just a thought to spend the time before a good one comes into mind...

I'm still on the hunt for distress calls on the nebula, might be nothing , but i'm going for it anyway....

(and they are running from me because in 2 days I couldnt find one!)

On the browser based one it does indeed say "Commander Lord Zoltan" at the bottom (it always entertains me, "Commander Lord" sounds like such a high and mighty title... well, I guess we are his minions after all ;) )

Honestly - I spend my time mostly in awe of this community; just catching up now and am just so, well... yeah, like I said: Awe.

Just happy to be able to join in, play alongside some cool people, take advantage of some extra direction for my own game time and help provide a bit of a back story for everyone else.
