Just finished buying all the Prismatic shields from Aisling Duval. From size 1 to 8 (also had to buy 8 ships to store them on). In order to have access to them when i join another faction.
Do you guys think that FD doesnt want players to have the ability to store parts from other stations/factions? And just arent aware that we already can store parts in this "clumsy" way? I'm sure a valid argument can be made for why they wouldnt want us to have this ability. Or do you think they just arent adding a convenient way to store them because they dont think its important enough to cmdrs?
Personally I want to try different builds using various faction parts. So I want to buy them all. Sure would be nice to have a dedicated place to store them at a Starbase so I dont have to flip through a 100 ships to find where i stored a part. Maybe another tab in the outfitting menu for "Stored parts"? I'm sure real estate is at a premium on a Starbase, so I would be willing to pay a large amount of credits for this space, even a weekly maintenance fee. Anyone else like to see this added? I'm not a programmer, but seems like this would be a fairly easy thing to implement.
