the FdL is a little tricky to dock. sometimes I'll hit the landing gear button when i enter the mail slot and i'll be sliding on the pad for about 10 seconds before suzy tells me that the gear is actually deployed, at which point i get an angry sizzling sound from the shields and my ship will rise up a few meters as the gear comes out.So I'm sat on the pad, bang in the middle and the damned thing won't dock.

I slide it around on the pad 'til eventually at some random point near the circle but in the red I finally get to dock.

Not related at all, just wanted to let you know it's Internet Explorer/Edge that's not allowing you to have empty lines in your posts. I changed to Chrome and the issue is gone.So I'm sat on the pad, bang in the middle and the damned thing won't dock.

just take it slow and it should be fine. the FdL is a gentle(wo)man's ship and should be flown as such.
