I am headed to the bubble to get my FDL and find a way to get it there.. Lots of explorers here seemingly no one who wants to fight back haha

I proposed the the same thing last night to no avail. I am going to try and get my FDL there tonight and would love to wing up for glory to protect some science nerds haha

Remember, what he's looking for is a crowd, ignore him as much as you can, go in private/solo for a few hours/days, make sure they get bored of griefing.
Because that's what this is, griefing. Killing other players for absolutely not a single in game gain, no cargo, no additional bounty. It's not even a fair fight, PvPers against explorers.
Could be why our Moon is permit locked.

Well if they want the sys for them ,let them. if no one gets in there , they will grow tired after 2/3 days.... WE might just stop looking for the barnacles.. If this happen then there will be no continue for the story.. so the dev might just find a way to take these idiots , out of maia...
Not officially - just a lot of very combat capable CMDRs who occasionally like to blow stuff up
Tricky - because you can sidestep them easily with Mobius or Canonn PGs (CMDR Canonn's PG will be up and running again in a day or so) or solo.
I don't necessarily disagree with their RP; but I do take issue with the fact they didn't bother issuing a warning that the rest of us would actually read. Also, the way they're going about it is pretty crummy to say the least: no warning, they'll just interdict you and blow you up.
Quite what the value in blowing up scientists is I don't know!
Just be careful. I've just noticed the griefer that killed me is in a wing of four.

Yeah this is the problem with it, I'd actively encourage the odd roleplaying pirate to interdict people and have a laugh, but these guys are just going to make sure they always have the upper hand wherever possible.
Yeah it's not going to be a pretty fight solo but what can you do. I don't play solo so if it calls for suicide missions until I run out of rebuy at least it will be fun
