Silent Run is a good idea?

When the hooter began going off I thought silent running was on so I hit the button. I saw the "SILENT RUNNING" appear and hit the button again, but as you see I turned it off then back on again. The overheating was caused by several things, including SR and the heat build up from the FSD charging. I was trying to go to another system and the ship was going into local supercruise (as you can see the escape vector notification)

All in all, a great way to defrost the onboard fridge.
