UAs, Barnacles & More Thread 5 - The Canonn

Ok, now things are getting weird, I've been derping around in this misty crater on Pleiades Sector HR-W D1-79 5 A and suddenly I found a 7x Pesticide pack guarded by two small shielded skimmers.
If ANYTHING so far is out of the usual then it's all of this, 7x pack that's not gold (or tea between buildings) and small skimmers with shields...

Something's fishy here.

wouldnt it be funny if we find the barnacles and they are nothing more then a structure that cant be scanned or harvested for anything. haha.

someone earlier in the thread said that the glyphs on the UA's could be a datebased co-ordnit system based off of the Mayan Stela, Well, No matter how you push and squeeze it, It doesnt make a true stela.
Here is what I did to get some dates from the 1300's and the 1100's. But, It seems to me like grabbing at straws.
Maybe someone smarter than I can take a look at it?

I've done this and found 0 planets that match your description.

Then you did not do a thorough job...look at Maia A 7 for instance...

Peregrina

Hi can some one give me a hand with a ship build.

In order of priority

1) Fighting in a power play expansion

2) Search for Unknown Artefacts and Barnacles (gathering some exploration data on the side)

3) Exploring the surface of planets for materials and Barnacles

4) Doing missions for a local faction - probably long range smuggling.

I will be based at Peregrina

I have next to no experience of surface exploration. No expereince of searching for Unknown Artefacts or Barnacles. I have some basic experience of exploration. I am known by some as a smuggler but it's a porky pies I tell you gents. I like my tea hot and strong enough to make spoon stand erect in the cup.

Thanks

This is what I've come up with so far.

If you'd like to lend a hand or share you thoughts, that would be splendid.

with the exception of the top head glyph the top left and bottom glyphs have identical marking

I did notice that, That wasnt actually meant to make it into the upload xD That was my working to try and manipulate that symbol pattern into something workable.

EDIT:-
I wonder, How much have we been told about aliens in the Elite Universe? As far as we know, at this point, the exo-skeletal structures could very well be of an origin other than thargoid. Could it be possible that there is another alien race that is far more obscure that the thargoids we know and love?

Perhaps you should check again. I recommend using this table. If you sort by gravity and filter only tidally locked bodies, Taygeta 4 comes out at the very top, with 3.15G.

If you are looking for bodies close to 1G values, as some argue, you have Electra 3 (1.16G) and Atlas B3 (0.98G).

That is correct.

No offence and with the greatest of respect:- As players we have never encountered a 'Barnacle Site' in the x thousand player hours logged, but we have encountered Crashes, we have no way to test wether or not Barnacles cause a system crash.

I do remember the other hard to find mission to win a Graphics card... which was bugged though.

That mission was not bugged, it was a scavenger hunt, which despite my many attempts to alert people to the difference between a scavenger and a treasure hunt, they ignored. However the tinfoil hattery in that thread rivalled some of the best moments in the UA search :D
