Finally uploaded, you've got ~11 minutes of barnacle recording in there and some close ups. Didn't record the spikes or watched them from close though. The meta alloys spawn specifically from those two spikes, everytime.

Definitely odd then. I'd say throw the shadowplay footage up on youtube and lets see if anyone else comes forward about unexpected damage from an unknown source while in the vicinity of a barnacle.

Please share. I've been having issues with my altitude meter since I picked up an MA, I keep 'landing' hundreds of meters above the ground.

It might be a normal flight mechanic, but when I left the site I was scanned (assume by the barnacle) and then shortly after my ship engines all switched off and i'm frozen looking down on the site. Then I hear it singing to me, similar noises to the UA. I haven't done much planet based stuff so is this normal or is it the barnacle? I was carrying a meta alloy but no UA. It happened several times and I could restart my engines after a pause.

After seeing the screenshots - I'm not upset. I was flying too high, looking for something a bit bigger. Ah well, off to take a close look so I can search elsewhere. We need to find more locations!!!!

I was sitting very close to one and my SRV hull instantly dropped to 7%... thought it was a bug... but I'm not sure.

Just to confirm again... 40km away from the Barnacle, the anaconda crashed...
