So far, it has been reluctant to railgun and burst laser fire. Though, it sounds like bark splintering, when you hit it.

Similar to an asteroid when you hit it with regular lasers? Anyone tried a mining laser on the barnacle yet?

The barnacle spawned in SOLO for me only after I saved and exited to desktop.

I'm not sure if anyone already mentioned that the barnacles (i.e., the meta-alloys) replenish if you log out and back in in solo mode.

I went in the opposite direction that the Conda flew in to find clues to why it crashed. Turns out there is another barnacle there, just a few km away. coordinates: 21.60, 89.03

The barnacle at -26.35 ; -156.40 seems to be pointing to the direction of "BD+60 2522" system. Can somebody check this out with other barnacles we found so far? This could be their homeland...

Yes. Basically it is as if you've landed. Engines shut down, ship computer makes the announcement, and you're just dead in the air. Not sure if a feature or bug, had it happen five times or so since I picked up an MA...

Yes, really annoying and scary. I had this a lot today in the vicinity of the first Barnacle site. Landing succesful, at about 2.5km altitude.

It could also point to the Next barnicle location. What if it is a chain of locations?
