It's a much better match to the LMC than it is to Barnard's Loop, but I'm all for us investigating both - there's enough of us after all
Do we have any idea how much MA is required to start the station healing process? Last night (no time in-gme today) I had 8 MA & it seems Obsidian is on the way to recovery without my contribution, so wondering about another alternative

Our attention is being directed towards the Large Magellanic Cloud/Barnards Loop (looks more like LMC to me).
Are intergalactic jump drives on the horizon, or just drives that'll take us right to the rim, where we currently can't go?

That's what makes the LMC such a compelling example, in my opinion. It's sufficiently distant that no matter where you are in our galaxy, if you can see it at all it looks the same. It doesn't necessarily point at their origin but it I'm sure it has SOME significance.

Can you remind me why we should name and shame ? They specifically did this to ruin my experience. I have the video. It's their purpose, they plan it, and they enjoy it. They specifically mentionned how it was fun to destroy the ship and how it must suck to come such a long way to be stranded..
Not that I give a but it was so obvious griefing.
I mean, I just really don't understand the reason why self proclaimed grifers are not met with any kind of side effect ? I mean, we can't even name them ? Why ??

You cant name them in the forum.. Your quite within your rights to write up a full rant about their behavior at FD including their names.
The name and shame policy is to prevent people being abused online for their actions, whether they are good or bad
Well, seeing as there seems to be some sort of collective amnesia regarding "Thargoids" in our galaxy, this image of a "thargon" (whatever they are) was recovered from an old 21st Century archive. They said all our history would be lost to the digital age! What do they know?
Obviously historical archives aren't kept anymore, best I could find regarding "Thargoids" was reference to them being a "legend" in an old Galnet post about Alien Artefacts (not UA) and some band. I'm sure they are quite nice really. If they exist.

Report 'em then relog in a private group or solo. You won't need to deal with them again and FD will determine (without feedback to you but that's ok) if their behavior warrants getting shadow-banned so they can't inconvenience other players. Joke 'em if they can't take a whatever. There's plenty of ways in this game to not let folks like that interfere with your play.
