Have to step in and play Devil's Advocate here...

There's a psychological phenomenon called Pareidolia which basically means seeing patterns like the infamous face on Mars because the human mind is always desperately lookings for meaningful patterns in anything.

There are any number (I'm better on the order of billions) of patterns that can be made by joining up the dots in an aerial barnacle image. As a case in point, here are some I knocked up earlier. Conspiracy theorists should take particular note of the one at bottom right...

Word from @Galnet_France is it was another CMDR who produced the image - they're trying to track them down so we can give Kudos.

My first thought was galaxy too, although there are lots of spirals in nature, so could be a feature of the 'growth'.

Since our Milky Way has only two arms, maybe the third (white) one is the message contained in the shape (coordinates?).

JUST A SUGGESTION AND A REMINDER ABOUT SOUND ANALYSIS:

Remember that all the audio breakthrough we made in the past could have been done SIMPLY using EAR, PEN and PAPER.
The software we used (i.e. Sonic Visualizer), was just to help spot morse's dashes and dots, visually. Nothing more.

I don't think FD wants us to use professional tools or similar, to find some hidden content.
Everyone should be able to solve any mystery in game.
It's been like that in the past, it MUST be like that even now.

How do the nebulas look like when looked at trough a black hole? Gravity lens effect? Distortions? Different when in SC or normal space?

Same happened to me tonight. Confused the heck out of me...landed 850m off the ground.
I had enough, turned towards the core and am now out in Deep Space 1000ly from the bubble.
