Alpha 3.4 is working so much better. Auto docking is awesome.

I loved docking too, however is there an easy quick way to get speed to 10 percent, I know there is a 25 percent speed you can assign to a key, but is there a ten percent one? Using the throttle is not particularly accurate, or it may just be my joystick...

Not tried auto docking yet ....

And one time I went to my assigned bay and anouther ship was already parked there !

Awesome experience though.

Great stuff. Glad auto docking has finally arrived in the game. I always found manual docking in the original game and its sequels really difficult so am delighted its been included.

Manual docking now is really easy in a starter size ship.

Actual landing in the right spot in time is a bit more tricky but still fairly easy.

I know I've been really unwell recently and on lots of different medication but I should have seen through this sooner especially when I was watching the Kerrash Landing stream the other day and he never knew anything about this. There is no autopilot in the game....yet. What he did was he added a key binding to the Voiceattack and flew very carefully :eek:

I was afraid Frontier has made the worst autopilot ever. I couldn't figure out how it was flying in such a jerky manner. You scamp.

The autodocking computer seems to have too little to do... Playing with the cargo scoop, rolling around unnecessarily... :p
