Hardware & Technical Taking apart an x52

Hello folks

I got a second hand x52 off ebay a month or so ago.
All seems well apart from the tension in the throttle which, regardless of how I adjust the tension on the side, is always rather two stiff for my liking.
I was thinking I might take it apart to see if I can find a way of loosening it a bit.
But I have never dismantled a joystick before - has anyone here?
If so is there anything I should be wary of? For example when I first unscrew the case and open it up are there a lot of loose parts that are suddenly going to tumble out and baffle me as to where they should be reattached?!
Any hints from anyone who has endeavoured similar surgery would be most gratefully received!

Thanks.

No, the X52 throttle is straightforward. Note that there are 2 additional screws under the rubber pads that are not visible unless you remove those pads.

Just remember if you're going to remove the existing thick grease and lubricate it with something lower viscosity, make sure it's a plastic 'friendly' grease. Silicone switch type stuff should be ok, but make sure.
