Hire NPC wingmen

While we CAN group up with people it is not always an option due to various reasons (instancing is one) it would be nice to have the option to hire NPC's

-Two wingmen maximum
-Hiring Cost is paid per hour and per ship
-Travel Cost is paid per light year (for each jump)
-Crimes commited by wingmen is applied to employer
-NPC ships destroyed adds insurance fee to be paid by employer
-Jump range is limited by NPC ships (A class jump drives fitted)
-NPC wingmen are not counted when calculating maximum people (NPC or otherwise) in a wing.

Available wingmen
-Sidewinders (10000/Hour) [Light Escort]
-Eagles (15000/Hour) [Medium Escorts]
-I.Eagles (20000/Hour) [Scout Escorts]
-Vipers (25000/Hour) [Heavy Escorts]
-Asp.Scout (30000/Hour) [Medium Scout Escorts]

I suggested the same thing.. but I would count them towards the wing.
that way you wont have a "Flying Army" everywhere.
think about a wing of 12 ships... ouchy? you couldn't EVEN stand a chance..

Nice idea but those prices lol, I wouldn't pay an NPC in a Vulture 10000 credits to follow me for 5 minutes let alone have a harmless itty bitty Sidewinder following me for an hour.

Also why have per a jump cost? There should only be a marginal fee based on the distance you are from where the NPC was hired. The total would be paid when the NPC ship is dismissed.

I love this idea, but I don't support the cost estimates suggested here. =P

Either we can have hourly costs (though lower than the prices you suggest) or they could take a percentage of your earnings.

Let's say a wingman takes 5% of your earnings (from missions, exploration, etc.).

Or maybe a combination of both.

Well, the pricing was a suggestion.

One could go with the hourly cost as the nominal fee and then add 5% from whatever earnings the CMDR has for the duration the support is hired.

We could also increase the fee depending on the NPC Elite Ranking.
