Premium Beta: Launcher Requires Update?

I have logged a ticket for this issue, but while I wait I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue:

I have just upgraded from standard beta to premium beta. I downloaded the client from the downloads page in My Account on the store. If I check the version of Client-Installer.exe (Right-click Properties > Details tab) it says it is version 0.2.820.0.

I ran the installer and it installed fine. When I ran the launcher the first time I entered my login credentials. It then allowed me to install the game. When I ran the game for the first time (I clicked yes to add the Windows firewall exception) it says it could not connect to servers. So I quite and tried again. I rebooted and tried again.

When it still didn't work I uninstalled the game and the launcher. I then re-installed the launcher. Now when I run the launcher I get this message:

When I click through to the launcher it looks like this:

So it's telling me version 0.2.881.0 is required, but I don't know how to get that?

Remove everything and try re-download launcher from shop.

It should be the download you get from the store but it looks as though it's not there yet, hence why everyone is getting the older version.

The Launcher should be in the process of being updated today due to the new access permissions etc.

Michael or Ashley will probably let everyone know when it's ready.

I have just uninstalled everything and re-downloaded the launcher from the shop. It still says it is version 0.2.820.0 and still gives the same issue unfortunately.

I'm also a Beta Premium. It has allowed me to use the 0.2.820.0 launcher without the error others are seeing, and downloaded the client; however, my client says the 'game has failed to communicate with the authentication server'

Anyone else seen this?

EDIT: Ahh I must have got in early; now if I close the launcher and reopen, I get the same message as stated here.

Same here, now I'm wondering (if any of the community managers are reading) should I un-install Re-install when everything is ready or should I just keep trying with my current out of date client (that I have already downloaded from my online store page) until it gives me the option to update to the new launcher?

Yes (he said in a calm voice) we know that's why we are trying to download our Premium Beta Download's, but the client that we use tells us that it's out of date and we need to update.

Unfortunately there is nowhere immediately obvious to go to in order to update our clients.

So like you know we are asking if we need to just you know wait ... or is there actually another way of dealing with this.

I think I remained calm enough there don't you think

Any technical issues with Beta access should now be resolved. Please report any other technical issues that happen.

So beta people should be able to re-download their launcher and download 1.2 alpha combat test.
