[Suggestion] Bounty Claims on Galaxy Map

If you've been doing bounty hunting for any length of time and managed not to die, you will inevitably end up with dozens of unclaimed bounties in your Transactions Tab.

Trying to chase these down can be a real hassle, so I think what would really help is some sort of (optional?) marker in the galaxy map to show you which systems they are in, like the markers that tell you where your ships are. It wouldn't even have to necessarily show the values anywhere - although, that would be useful too.

It would allow you to, for example, make short detours to pick up claims if you happen to be travelling close to a system that's indebted to you.

Any chance of getting something like that in one of the upcoming releases FD?

Great suggestion, especially since not all factions have its place of birth in their names.

Not sure as some factions can cover 20 or 30 systems - the map would soon fill up with rubbish. If it was filtered it would be almost constantly filtered "OFF" so would be a waste of time

A no more than the Trade data filter. Oh and the Realistic Map, I mean, really .... who actually uses that for anything useful other than it might look nice.

The Bounty filter would actually prove useful if your interdicted across a 300Ly trip and have bounties scattered along that journey. It would be filtered out till you want it in, and depending on your game style it may be in more than out.

Yeah, but that thing is weird. It says open galaxy map, but doesn't open it, though if you click it, then open the map manually, it's centered on the right place.

The other option suggested by a couple of us a while ago was another 'Contact' that would be a broker for bounties outside of jurisdiction. So you could hand them in and get a percentage of the value to avoid the hassle of hunting the right system down. Someone from FD replied that they liked the idea but nothing more has been said....

I'd much prefer this solution. I'd happily pay a 'Percentage' to a broker.

That would work too, but FD's ethos does seem to be "make them go there", so having the data on the galaxy map would just make it easier.

i kinda like the idea.
add an option in the map settings, to show bounties...
then all the systems you have bounties in are highlighted, possibly with amounts as well, if that option os selected as well.

No, no. No, this is a bad idea. No, no, no, this is exactly what should not happen.

Being able to plot from the transaction tab, or an icon above the systems for minor faction claims would be a fantastic idea. Forfeiting claims for a tiny rep bumb would also be a fantastic idea.
