I was heading to the bubble from my first trip to the core. A Friday evening and I get disconnected while the server status says "OK". 7 hours later no update on the issue.

I understand wanting to compensate for expired missions. However I think an explanation of the problem plus a non-ingame advantage (such as a bobble head / paint job) would have been appropriate (upgrade to Horizons would be nice, lol).

Seriously, please next time there is an issue keep your customers up to date so we don't stew in our frustration when the server status says "OK" and we can't connect. An limited offline mode would help as well.

Nice gesture, but an odd one. Unable to play on my day of availability, so on a day I have no availability everyone who was probably sleeping gets a 20% bonus? lol

Donation missions have unchanged credits costs, but will reward 20% more faction reputation. Hopefully this clears up your question?

How about other faction missions? Do they also have reputation boost?

I would just like to know if the 20% will be added to the influence levels so that all the mind numbing work I put in yesterday to prove a BGS theory, counts for something. But I doubt it, so I may as well go and ride the gravy train.
The downtime also meant that the tick got missed.

How about an exploration CG with a really high rewards, like in Christmas CG? I'm currently flying back to the bubble (17K Ly) and expecting to arrive in the middle of the next week, just in time for the next batch of CGs.

Sorry, but how exactly does this benefit people who were locked out of the Distant World expedition?

I think the problem is in how you need to "sell" the data to be paid - so the best that could happen would be for them to set a specified weekend for exploration sales boost sometime after the expedition returned.
