Bah, the stations are just Mega-Gigantic-Huge sized UAs.
Ya, if they have already built a station, would explain the ship, only way to find it might be to tail one, if that is possible.

AluminumAlloy posted finding a ship with similar name a few pages back, also reported it left the area at a very unusual high rate of speed, too fast he thought for the ship normally.

They have already built ship assets and we have been shooting them for weeks.
Back in one of the older threads someone called Domel posted this, https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=222049&page=434 with some nice pics as evidence.
The shape of the barnacles is disturbingly close to the shape of the Thargons. Add in a couple of extra segments and you have a full blown warship.
Oh and they're indestructible so far

I've been wondering if the barnacles are self-replicating exploration probes, and the UAs the dispersal stage of same.

In the past, I think I've noticed more articles posted on a Sunday than a Saturday tbh. I have no actually proof, just a vague recollection of seeing them turn up. Perhaps they written before hand and set to automatically turn up then so that it's ony a day before the working week starts for some reason... (perhaps so there is not a massive gap over the weekend before further clues arrive... I'm not sure).
But then again, I could just be imagining things.
Well, I'm going to assume the next hunt is probably going to be to find one of these ships, either by interdicting one or through other means. If so, I hypothesize that the "interdiction" route would be a possible "branching point" in our relations being peaceful or hostile.
So we should definitely think twice before we go out on another mass hunt for these things for the sole purpose of finding one as quickly as possible, because this is where our actions are going to start taking a very real effect.
Also, I wonder if anything was added in the recent server side update. Probably nothing major will come until the next client update, but there still could have been something changed.
