So these have also been seen in distress calls, too - very interesting, it's almost like our 'character' might be getting tested or something.

I never carry fuel limpets, so if I see one I won't be able to help - not a great advert for humanity!

Keep your scanners ready and your hardpoints stowed (sorry Huros).

If you carry an UA or meta-alloys, drop one to give them a look. Metals may also be good gifts.


Edit: Try to get pictures of the cockpit. Perhaps Dommarraa's avatar is sitting in the pilot seat?

Wouldn't surprise me if we start getting an influx in "suspicious" ships now. I'm sure the likes of INRA are poking around, what with recent events and all.

Also, the idea that aliens may have replicated our ships or maybe disguising theirs as ours doesn't seem to much of a stretch. Remember, the UA's scan our ships and create a rough drawing of it and then send it somewhere.

Who knows. Personally I'm leaning towards this suspicious ship being related to INRA and I think we're going to see more.

I'm still out around the Jellyfish Nebula looking for barnacles. I'll probably start heading towards Barnard's Loops and Orion Nebula soon.

Just a what if and a man sized what if. What if the ships we are now seeing are actually maybe scouts from a lost human colony. Somebody correct me if my assumptions are totally wrong given whats happened over the last few weeks.

How do they get hold of a DBX? or is it just a ship emitting a very similar signal as a DBX?

I wondered if there's any significance to the ship designation. The format looked a little like Biblical references, book, chapter, verse. (Why biblical references in space in 3302? Why Morse? etc... they're good for apocalyptic quotations if nothing else!)

My first time I got it wrong and found:

Alternatively, maybe S6:7 means "six of seven"? Could be a relative of 7 of 9, and there's been a couple of redundancies?

This distant world floatila could end up being humanities last hope :)

It could just as easily be Sura 6, verse 7. There's no reason to assume these guys wouldn't have access the the threequel :p
