Seems like a really tight release schedule though with the beta being released on the 30th.

Same here actually. Doesnt leave much time to iron out problems with Beta roll out if T&T alpha is releasing in early May.

Also take into account that the beta build is supposed to be released two weeks earlier to the alpha backers.

The month of May will be charged for alpha players. In April, do not discover you of a thread, in May make what you like

It's just under a 6x6x6 light year box so probably not too many, just enough for some meaningful differences in star systems for trade and legal status?
