A question about upgrading to premium beta.

hi I just upgraded to premium beta and am downloading the single player demo . the thing I am a bit worried about is when I bought it it got discounted . does that mean I loose all the perks and the expansion pack that I bought before . I hope not :-(

the perks were to name some random npc family name and to get a character with my name or so. and also a spaceship .

I would be quite sad if I loose the perks. because I thought it would be fun to see it in game

No you dont lose any kickstarter perks

You retain all the advantages that you had in the kickstarter (or the old store). You can also go in the old app backers. You also have your account over there (and in the new store, also of course)

I would also like to know if I have to do anything special to run the occulas rift with the premium beta demo . do I have to install anything else. or does it have an option at launch.

You enable Oculus Rift through the graphics settings menu. Very simple. But be sure to set which monitor you want the game to appear on: Primary or Secondary.

thank you I did finish downloading the game seems I have some sepration issues in the game with occulis rift enabled and the head tracking dosent seem to be working. maybe I have to use vireo to get the head tracking to work.

but so far I played a bit and I got to say the thing that got me the most in elite is the sound. the sound work is amazing!

is it possible to upgrade to standard beta in the same way you can upgrade to premium beta.?
In other words will my £30.00 kickstarter pledge be taken into account as a discount leaving me with a balance of £20.00 to pay?

I have a feeling they will add this option after the launch of premium beta . since they did the same thing with alpha and premium beta.
