At a way point with loads of other people. Last time I was at a meet-up was WP2. Got loads of friend requests and sent out loads.

Oh by the way, I now appear to have 4 passengers; picked them up on a couple of god-forsaken planets. I'm thinking of taking them all the way to Beagle Point and dropping them off. Does this make me a bad person?

Yes and no.

I kinda like the idea of getting to BP and being able to repair my ship, but...

If you're docked at Jacques station when it jumps, do you get taken along as well? I'd be a bit naffed off to finally drag my battered Asp into Beagle and find a load of tourists swanning around. Not to mention a welcoming committee of tooled up Corvettes, Vultures, etc.

Unless of course, it took a bunch of griefers out to BP, and stayed there for a couple of months :D

We're not due at #8 until Thursday. Looking at the galaxy map friends list, 95% of players on this trip are on their way to WP7 (this weekends scheduled meetup). If you're a waypoint or two ahead of the fleet you're unlikely to meet many (if any) other players on this expedition.

Keep an eye on the itinerary thread otherwise you're not going to have much of a social experience on this trip :p

Nah, it's all good, your wives will understand. Besides plenty of Commanders arriving at Beagle Point will be more than willing to take a passenger or two after being in space alone such a long time...

No, barbecuing them and eating them with potato salad makes you a bad person.

I'm still dumb actually at wp7 so not as far ahead as i though. So same problem still applies :( I had looked at the guide so i was sure that I was in the right place

Just landed at Waypoint 6, and will head out for Waypoint 7 tonight.

Is the Erimus group closed now? I was just going to post my details in the roster thread, and noticed that today it was locked.

Could be an instancing issue. Try logging in and out of the game a few times. A couple of waypoints back I had the same problem, no one around, logged out and back in and suddenly there's 15-20 parked ships 100 metres away.

Yes, private group access is now over.. Its open play only now for latecomers - you should still find plenty of players at designated meetup times, as far as I know around 150-200 went in open play.
