Graphics

I get the reference, but the question still leaves me confused for another reason.

Full spec is full spec. By definition, there is no higher fidelity than that.

To be fair, a lot of games have more graphics options than are made available through the UI. You have to muck about with .ini files and such like to access them, and I guess this is what the OP is asking about.

Yep, go to your ini file and add the following line.

Super_Shiny=1

followed by

Make_Graphics_Look_Better_Than_StarCitizen=1

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I can't answer the OP, but on a related matter, what is the highest resolution anyone has played on a single screen? I only see a max option of 1920 x 1080 but I imagine higher resolutions are supported. Should I be saving my pennies for a 4k screen?

I'm running at 2560x1440 on a 27" iMac and it looks spiffingly good :smilie:

There have been a few references to the games looks not being final yet.

DB mentioned in a video numerous things are still to be added in to the space station.

I have 1920*1200 - screen limited.

Do you mind me asking what are your specs and how is the performance at this resolution? I have a 2013 27'' iMac myself.

Sure, no problem. The specs are straight from Apple web site for the £1,749 off the shelf model. i.e;

27-inch: 3.4GHz
3.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i5
Turbo Boost up to 3.8GHz
8GB (two 4GB) memory
1TB hard drive1
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M with 2GB video memory
Bootcamped with Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

The performance so far has been just fine as far as I can tell. (apart from when I average about 3fps! :D it is alpha after all innit? ). I run it with all gfx settings set to high at the highest resolution.
