Ship to Ship boarding

now i now this could be implemented further down the line in the later updates maybe in the one where first person player combat is introduced and such as there would be a very tight environment to fight within and more likely than not it would be in the larger ships and not in ones like the eagle or sidewinder possibly up to the type 7 transporter after that the ships would be sufficiently large that it wouldn't be first to shoot wins and would involve some strategy and since multi crews are added in soon the boarding combat wold be more diverse as each player would have their own specialization when it came to combat.

Also, don't be afraid of the following: >.<, >?<, and >!<. Without them, we picture someone face-down on their keyboard, passed out from not taking a breath.

If you can't write in the proper way
If you don't know how to conjugate
Maybe you flunked that class
And maybe now you find
That people mock you online
And that's why I think it's a

Good time
To learn some grammar
Now, did I stammer
Work on that grammar
You should know when
It's "less" or it's "fewer"
Like people who were
Never raised in a sewer

I hate these word crimes

Seriously you guys aren't even going to comment on the idea. You do realize the whole point of replying to this thread it to comment about the idea and not the grammar don't you?

We can't give a opinion in something that isn't in a context we can understand, reading it and trying to figure out when to pause and such is bothersome at the point its too much effort.
We are asking for you to fix it so we all can understand and get in the same track, one thing leads to another hon.

I actually made a comment about this but it included proper grammar. I would love ship to ship boarding but I'd also love the option of setting the self destruct and, while they're on their way to your ship, heading to theirs and backing off so they can 'enjoy' their prize.

It been talk about on the Design Decision Forum. All we can do is wait and see. There also talk of Multiple crew.

I'd love to see this in the game (season 3? :) ) there's great potential here for piracy, bounty hunting and law enforcement.

I like the idea of launching a small 'boarding craft' from the fighter bay with your wing mates on to rob the ship while one of the wing stands on guard in a combat ship.

Hello, Shadow Dracul. :)

Thanks for your contribution, OP, everyone's welcome here - although clear writing does tend to go across better to other posters. I'd've written your post something like this (let me know if I've misinterpreted your meaning anywhere and I shall edit accordingly):-

"Ship-to-Ship Boarding

I think what you've written is exactly the plan, as Lestat said. When we'll get this is anybody's guess, but it should be coming eventually. I don't see Frontier limiting it to larger ships, though - and now that you say it, I'm wondering how it's going to work with Sidewinders, given how small they are.

I'm also wondering if entry will be limited to regular boarding points, such as airlocks, or if we'll be able to cut our way in via the hull, or even blast our way in through the canopy. The player in the pilot's seat might be in for some interesting experiences... :)
