If you are starting from steam, the instructions elsewhere on this forum worked fine. I can't find them right now, though :(

Anyone know if theres any cutters left this long into the journey? I saw a couple of them around in the earlier waypoints but Im curious if those could even make it as far as Sag A. I saw a video with one or two at Waypoint 9 so I guess its possible but I'm curious of their loadouts.

I used the formula in the thread https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=151389 to get my 'magic' number, which for my jump range was 33.6. So i then plotted routes in multiples of this number & it seemed to work fine. I settled for plotting in steps of 5x33.6 = 168LYs & the route was plotted in 10-15 seconds each time.

I wasn't too bothered about this shorter route length as it gave me 6 jumps & that was sufficient for the way that I like to explore the systems I jump into.

additional. just to clear up my 'magic' number - once I got the plot value from the formula quoted, i then divided my ACTUAL jump range into the plot number to give me a value of 33.6

Hitting the FSD Boost button, if you can get it acknowledge, cancels it for me.

Yes, they are both still with us. In fact if there is anywhere that they wont have issues with jump range, it's in the core.

So, after a week of hauling ass (only read about this last week) I've made it to WP10. Is there any private groups available to join in on? Wouldn't mind actually seeing some people around. Play GMT +11

I even saw CMDR The_Tenderizer01 in his Federal Corvette at Waypoint 8, IIRC. Now THAT'S worth some applause, I think! ;)

Damn, still unable to update. I am even trying transferring game to steam now and trying that way. I wonder if it would make sense extending the time for WP11 meetup with the current problems with the installer. Can't be the only player locked out of the game atm? Really sucks that one of the biggest meet ups is happening soon and I will prob miss it.

Since the Cartographic and Prospecting thread doesn't have the details for WP 10 and 11 up yet, I recommend JUENAE BC-B d1-7419 2A for Yttrium and Cadmium (8.58 LY from Sgr A*) but the only Polonium I found is a short trip away at STUEMEAE XJ-A d7976 6D (159.63LY from Sgr A*, this moon also has Niobium and Germanium; Arsenic and Germanium can be found on the 5A moon in the same system and the 3D moon has Vanadium, Germanium and Niobium). Hopefully the Rock Rats will find a green system closer to these waypoints but this should keep you supplied until then. Thats crazy. I just tossed a Corvette build with the same redundancies I want in my cutter and just... hats off man.
