I've found polonium 9.03 LY from Sagittarius A if anyone needs it. Stuemeae BA-A D6708 A 1 has it, it's metal rich, less than 8 LS from the arrival point and gravity is 0.88G.

I've added the system to Trello, do you have a screenshot of the materials for confirmation?

Nevermind confirmed it myself, not necessary anymore.

It seems I'm stuck. My laptop drops to < 1fps when I try to plot a route, even though it only uses 15% cpu. It's impossible to do anything and doesn't seem to get out of it.
I didn't have this problem the previous time (a year ago) when I went to Sagittarius A* on the exact same laptop, same settings. Now the only option is to kill the task in the task manager.
I hope I can escape in a different direction. Won't be making it to Sagittarius A* on this trip :/ Maybe it's broken as I try to approach Sagittarius A* from below, dunno. Kill task.

The detour to 2900ly below was fun anyway, found a lovely red planet.

I wasn't using this little equation and now I am plotting with speed after using it, its all in this nice YouTube channel by Dr Kaii:

What's your ships max jump range?

There's a handy little equation to work out optimum core plot distances. For me with my 32.39Ly jump it's 960.2Ly max plot. If I'm plotting within .1ly of that distance the route calculates in seconds. If I go higher or lower it can take 10min+.

Edit* Ninja'd again!

Yeah I had been trying that already yet it locked up as soon it started planning. Normally you can adjust a little bit to find the sweet spot, yet at 0.8 fps you can't do anything.
Anyway 12th attempt, a route finally, and pretty much instant, go figure. I'm on my way up! 968.2 ly was my magic number for this route.

Good:) It gets better when you start to rise out of the core. I am approximate location of WP12 and all core related silliness ref plotting have now all gone.

Space Madness is real.

The call of the black hit, and hanging around the bubble waiting for Horizons to launch was hell. Inspired by a Dr. Kaii video I made a run to the top. On route I decided to carry on to Beagle point when I heard about the Distance Worlds run. As I was already on the far side so I might as well carry on and run the route in reverse. Grinding the last 20K LY I was at Beagle Point for the Distance World launch day.

On a side note I have to say I never could have made it if it wasn't for the pathfinders. Finding a tagged system letting me know I was on the right path was a godsend to my morale. I salute those who went before. The thought of having my name in the same systems as the greats is something I would take great pride in. Considering my goal in ED is to write my name across the galaxy in a confusing manner.

Getting back to the point of this. I thought Sag A would be a good place to meet up with the fleet. Waiting for them to catch up I made a quick run to the bottom. Only 3K LY out of the way, not worth taking about. Joined up with the fleet at way point 9. Now I'm sitting at Sag A { First black hole of the trip } having to decide what to do next. I could carry on home as planed and take pride in the possibility the fleet might see my name with the greats but I would love to be there for the finish. This is where the madness kicks in. I could stay with the fleet and forget about the tags, but I'm within smelling distance of home. I'm giving this lots of thought but that's a lot of backtracking. Strangely heading back to Beagle with the fleet I can deal with but making the return trip again. Not sure I'm up for that.

I could race back to the bubble and hope I made enough for an explorer conda then buckyball back to Beagle Point. I have been giving this some thought. Mostly how much I don't want to do that. Well I have a few days to decide.

Let this be a warning to you. Space Madness is real.

On a personal note.

Dr. Kaii

With all due respect Sir, I blame you.

$60 for ED $70 for a HOTAS and now this? What kind of doctor are you?

To be fair the $200 for the lifetime pass is on me. But I feel better blaming you and that damn cold earth.

On the other hand. Thank you Sir for introducing me to this amazing experience.

So I finally made it to the Sag A* WP. A bit late due to Real Life stuff. But now, also due to Real Life stuff (read Man Flu, tooth ache and an abcess) I'm not going too far outside the house this weekend. So, I've been 2846LY south of Sag A* on this trip, and now I'm on my way to WP12 above Sag A*. My plan is to go as far north as I can and then get back for the photo shoots / take off events on sunday evening.

Cya sunday Commanders o7

Hangin' around photographing Greeroi Nebula for the gallery,
I meet up with CMDR Karla in a random system...
The opportunity for some unusual shots :)

(Yes, I know it's not my absolute first jump in, but the footage from that one was rubbish, so I had to re-shoot....)

Regarding Cmdr GSRTrent’s arrival at Beagle Point.
Please understand that the 24 XB1 players who signed up for DW, half never even left the bubble. Half of those who did went to Sag A* & back, leaving about 8 of us.
Due to the now limited numbers, time zones the instancing problems since 1.5. This has now turned into a lone adventure for all of us. The lack of Planetary landings made the schedule pretty impossible for us to keep. The waypoints Cmdr Trent posted were all we had to go on, it does put us in the same Nebula’s etc. if not the exact system. Surely this still counts?
Does it make his achievement any less because he done it in his own time? For all I know he could be the first Cmdr to get to Beagle point on the XB1. The Cmdr may have just made Elite XB1 history.
Congrats Cmdr we are proud of you.

To me, it absolutely does count. It's a great achievement, and one that anyone reaching Beagle Point should be proud of.
Congratulations Commander :)

Good call Cmdr, good call. I still find it a shame that our XBox brothers and sisters can't join us yet. I salute those few who are still with us in XBox, if not in prescence :( o7
