Needed Immediately

In this topic, I would like to discuss any ways to spend the money, except for those that are already in the game right now. Living room on the ship is just an example.

In the game there is no way to spend the earned money
.
The player has no personal space. Ships and upgrades are only tools for making money. Ranks and titles is simply text in the menu.
That is why the game is called empty.

Now the game does not need political games or craft to the ship, or shooter. Now we need to give the player his own room on the ship for example. We need to enable people to spend money on a variety of in-game items. Buy an aquarium or a rare thing for her room. Give the opportunity to invite to his cabin for a Woman (eg money). Create an opportunity to collect unique items and make a place for the demonstration in the same room.

I think this is what the game lacks the most at the moment. And I'm sure it's much easier to implement than a shooter or atmospheric planet.

Give people the opportunity to spend the earned money on something other than ships.

I really want to know the opinion of other players about all this, and perhaps even to the developers.

There are things to spend money on. Buy ballistic weapons and buy ammo and then pay for repairs or cargo.

Once they introduce walking around on ships and stations, I think this would be a nice idea. Something to spend your in-game credits on other than ship upgrades. Something to give us a feeling of "home" whether it's your ship or your favorite station in your favorite system.

We don't want pay to play.

How does this suggestion equate to "pay to play"??

How will a room on my FDL benefit me? It will be just a minor distraction. It wont make the gameplay any better or more interesting.
We need better missions, free of major bugs with good rewards and clear directions on what to do.
We need a wider variety of weapons and exploration equipment.
We need more things to do on planets and different kinds of SRV vehicles.
A lot of these changes are coming in season 2 already and I cant wait to see them.

You can spend your money on different ships and equipment. Very few people can claim that they have purchased all the ships or even have enough funds to do so.
I still need the Cutter and Corvette for my collection, not to mention about a dozen lower priced ships.

This game is SpaceSIM, not ship-simulator.

Ships is only a means of earning money. I do not want to spend money on new ships. I have my favorite, and I have enough. For me, the ship is a way to earn money, which can then be spent.

You have spent your money on this game. That means you like to spend money on themselves and their desires in real life. And I'm sure in real life, you buy a lot of things for yourself.

In the game there is no place to spend the accumulation of money except on ships. This game does not auto-simulator, there is no purpose to buy all cars - vehicles. This game is SpaceSIM, there should be all in reality. The best example of the GTA.

In SpaceSIM, you have only your ship, and it's your house. it is much more logical than doing all sorts of hangars, etc.

And for this you earn money? To spend on ammo, not the girls for example?

Spend money doing fun things. Take an all cannon FGS into a hasREZ and aggro everything. Become wanted in every single alliance system, then dink around in Mahlon HQ. Take an IE into a high intensity CZ.

Money is what pays for all the silly things you do.

The ability to own and develop industries would be a good way for people to spend their money. It would also help develop the trading network - take materials to a commander owned factory, then products off to sell where there's demand for them, that sort of thing. Worked pretty well in X3.

Funny, but not realistic and not interested

Yes, it's not bad, but it is difficult to balance, and to enter into the game. Require a revision of the entire game economy.

But my proposal will not affect the economy of the game. Just to add to the game a variety of items for which you can spend free money (luxury, artifacts, objects of art, women, and so on)
In all sandbox games the player has a lot of ways to spend money, typically spend on their shelter or entertainment.

If you wanted reality, you probably bought the wrong game.

a copy of the Milky Way fairly realistic. I see that many aspects of the game are realistic. Developers even Stem VR engaged. And there are many more interesting activities than what you described above.

Just can not do everything at once. At this point add the game that I have proposed is quite simple and that is what is most lacking at the moment. IMHO

p.s the game is always a balance between realism and fun

I hope the greatness of ED reaches many more people, so much so, that the dev crew gets a LOT bigger! That way we can have more things to do like what the op mentions. It would be great if you could land on planet A, and take some leisure time doing any number of things.

Maybe go to some communal places & have a conversation mini game where you can either barter for items, or take a beautiful woman back to your ship. Maybe play some other game activities, or go hunting ect. The more options and activities the better. Could be a great way to get exciting missions. The better to break up the space sim without the need to go to other games for said gameplay. This could open a lot of other avenues for both credit spending, and overall game fun.

No matter how many people bash the op for what was suggested; I for one wouldn't put this above a number of other things either, we all hope for ED to become more than what it currently is, and as long as they continue to get our support, and a growing player base, the more it will become.

Cheers for what it is, and what we all hope it will develop to be.

Quite simple? LOL. None of your ideas are simple to implement. You have no idea what you are talking about.
In the meantime, maybe you would be happier with a copy of Sims 4 than with Elite.

SpaceSim does not mean Sims 4 in space.
A Space sim means that the game allows you to experience flying a ship in space. A space sim is not about stockpiling virtual useless junk in your virtual living room located on a virtual space ship.
A better use of FD's resources would be to give us more things to do with our spaceships.

Simply do what landing on the planet. And a lot easier than doing inside the station or the shooter or the atmospheric planets landing.
Yes, it's not very easy to do. However, it is necessary to do now, because at the moment this part of the game LOST most.
Many of my friends are talking about the fact that the elite have nothing to buy except for ships and their equipment for this reason that the game turns into an empty grind for grind in the future.

If we were discussing a spacecraft simulator, I would not write anything here. And this game, I would not have bought. This space sandbox and then expect that there are in the GTA or Sims is quite normal.
If you are satisfied that there are working more than space battles this does not mean that it is convenient for everybody.

FLEET: Sidewinder, Imperial Eagle, Cobra MKIII, Cobra MKIV, Imperial Courier, Vulture, Federal Assault Ship, Imperial Clipper, ASP Explorer, Fer-De-Lance, Anaconda - It's just your style of play, not to impose it on others.

If you are interested in buying all the ships in the game, this does not mean that all this is necessary.
I'm sure that right now you're grind at a corvette. Many are engaged in a game other activities (research, trade, etc.) for themselves and not what would then show its fleet as you do.
Only here there is no place to spend money than to it. Therefore, in the game, and few other people, and there are many people like you.

Most people bought ED so they could fly around in space ships. Not decorate living rooms. Then there are people like you.

It's just the intended style of play. Do not steal dev time just because you don't find the game you bought fun.

JacoTheBad in general I agree with you. Just in this topic, I described what can be done quickly and need in the game now. IMHO

There is far more important things to do right now than to meet your 'wanting'
And unless you are from frontier and you yourself say its a simple thing to implement, you don't know what you are talking about, so just stop there.
