procedural generation . how far can it go..

well I kind of have a general idea of procedural generation . recently I saw this video done in 64kb including music and graphics which is procedurally generated .. can elite be made inside 4 gigs of data :) if that can be done in 64 kb lol

ED is a combination of procedural and fixed content, so depending on the amount of fixed content I would say yes it should be able to fit into 4gb, but again.. depends on fixed content. :)

Love the demoes from farbrausch and other demogroups, really shows whats possible with procedural techniques.

What about space engine then, zoom around many galaxies, visit billions of worlds and speed it up and watch all the planets, moons and asteroids orbit.
