I often heard this reflection: if they were less live stream and work more on xbox version maybe we were more happy.

I agree but, maybe if the community can see more work reports on elite dangerous's YouTube channel, like the report ( how to make à real world), the issues are better understood by xbox community.

The le could be: why xbox version is not the same than pc ?

I think YouTube is à good communication tool, the community love, learn more on the frontier 's work, and it's more easy to understand the hard work it is.

Most of the very active members already have a pretty good idea on the "How and When"

I understand its somewhat unclear for "somewhat less active" members.

But form the other hand, i know no Developer that is posting weekly status updates about the progression of the game they are working on.. And i have pretty good idea why they don't. lol

Skins are not a primary in my opinion getting Horizons out to X1 asap so that the playerbase won't be dry up and lose interest in the game. That's more important

Most likely skins involve lot of logistics towards integration with Microsoft systems, and doesn't involve engine/XBO integration team at all. Just two teams doing their own thing.

in all fairness most customers on xbox dont know and more to the point dont care. i get all the reasons i do, but for many, the reasons at this point are excuses. many games to play on xbox and more coming out all the time and they seem to deliver in a much more acceptable pace to customers, and elite is becoming the game players feel they wait on all to much. honestly i feel its an amazing game and truly hope it continues to get better and improve, but i dont blame players for leaving, im jus afraid many wont come back. less players means less chance this game truly shines on xbox going forward , and thats a shame.

I heard that they are planning to release both this year around the same time they might talk about it during e3 or talk about it.

Skins will be coming with the 1.6 update.. and that is .. really soon. between now and 3 weeks i believe.. Horizons will be revealed also soon.. but that will be probably a release date reveal. Not the actually DLC it self.


I am totally hyped about the overhauled Bulletin Board. Can't wait to find out what it means. Today 8pm my time, they might show it on the live stream.
