Hitting & maintaining rank 4 with Aisling Duval using PCA's: Is it possible for someone with lots of time to spare?

Hello. My main motivation for looking to join anime girl is the shields. I fancy her... I mean the shields. :p

I'm quite confident about my ability to reach rank 3 & maintain it, but it would be nice to reach rank 4, for the weekly five million bonus.

What I'm asking is, would it be possible to hit the initial 1,500 merits through transport, then maintain that rank through transport thereafter? I'm primarily a haulage pilot, and am willing to to fly cargo wherever it is best for the Princess' cause. But, I need help understanding what's what. So please, if an Aisling pilot could help me out and add a new member to the cause, I'd really appreciate it. :)

Yes, this is what I do. Based at Medipe City Cubeo and collecting allocations every half-hour, in a Cobra 3 first, then a Type 6, latterly an Imperial Clipper.

Many thanks, +rep.

I've never done PCA's before. How many do you get per allocation?

Hudson player here but it all works the same. Rank 4 gives you 25 every half hour, rank 1 gives you 10. If you fast track (10,000 credits per merit) or do combat you can maintain rank 4 in 1-2 hours a week.

It depends what level you're at. 10 per half hour to start with, then 15 once you're up to the next rank, then 20 at rank 3 which is what you need for the Prismatic Shields.
To maintain rank 4 once you have reached it, you need 800t of Aisling "art pamphlets" - sorry media articles - per week to fortify or prepare systems. Beware with the Preparation ones though - if Aisling is in turmoil you can't do preparation that week, so don't stray too far from Cubeo as your base.
My timetable is that every evening when I've finished doing whatever I'm doing in the game, I return to my base that week - Cubeo or a Control system near a system that can be prepared - and load up an allocation. Usually I spend about half an hour clearing up the kitchen etc. before going to bed, then I load another allocation before turning the PC off. Next morning I load up the game and load the waiting allocation, plus one or two more while I'm getting ready to leave for work. When I get home in the evening I load up the game again and load up allocations while getting dinner etc. until I'm free to play the game again. Then I deliver what I've collected and go off to do combat / trading / exploration etc. for a couple of hours. When I start to fall asleep I return to base and park up for the night, loading the night allocations as described above.
Doing it this way while at rank 4 (25 units per half hour), it's not too taxing to collect around 150 allocations per day, with more collected during the day if I'm around the house more e.g. at weekends etc.
To get anywhere near rank 5 I would need to be able to load allocations while on the move. I can access the mobile app while away from home but it doesn't allow you to do anything at the moment. Hopefully this will be addressed in the future (hint hint FD!).
Hope this helps.

So if I've done my maths right, that's three hours a day, every day a week, not even that technically, and I'm golden to maintain rank 4 after reaching it? Cheers, I can do that. I suppose I can sneak some trading in at the same time? Do uncollected PCA's stack?

Also, when does the cycle restart each week? I think I'll start PP right after the next re-set.
