Upset about the recent Mobius infiltration? Do something about it.

Please Dave, don't you think I don't have a thing to say to those "neutral observers and analysts"? Damn right I have.

But don't reply to any provocation or "reasoning", please mate! Stay focused.

People, do what you did in the last 36 hours, it's working. And once the war starts, you all know what to do - only repair at Dogma, do not cash bonds there. Go to outpost for that.

Can't imagine why anyone would want to something like that... Seems like you're trying to stifle the conversation by taking it elsewhere.

Yeah it's a bit... well, Meh! ;) I was told today via a rumor that the puppies are planning a real life event for FD that was "meant" to be posted by one of them on Reddit, but quickly removed by the powers that be. I'm waiting to see if it's real or not atm.

Yesterday, quite a few posters in this thread were trying to convince me otherwise. Hence, my questions.

Clearly wrong question. If the question was "how do I help flip the system" then you would be fine; asking "why" is a bit problematic because it requires justification (beyond revenge).

To remain on topic: Keep up the good fight. I'm sure flipping the system, which is actually quite an amusing thing to do, will of course stop any future incursion into a private group and teach everyone a valuable lesson. Probably. Good luck!

We'll have the new score tomorrow, we'll know exactly what to do then.

Just don't go into discussion, watch for the directions here.

Fly safe, mates.

Where do I sign up to be issued a pitch fork? Oh right, whoops don't mention the war.

The scores are in!

Great work!

From the scores in Shu Jinga, it looks like we successfully reduced SDC by 0.7%. The next faction up from that is Shu Jinga Gold Hand Group. If we continue what we did yesterday we'll see SDC fall more while keeping GHG the same to break the war stalemate. Last night, I took an SDC kill pirates mission out of Shu Jinga. It took about 1/2 hour but the alternative mission finally showed up. It directed me to go to Litke Mines and accept their meager counter offer! I was already going to Litke Mines so that was just fine with me! While I was waiting for the alternate offer to show up, I winged with BaronDekalb and destroyed some SDC ships at the Nav. Tonight, I'll be doing MORE of the same. Anyone care to join me in Shu Jinga? When those SDC show up at the Nav, they come in force - 5 to 6 ships in a wing packing some heat. So, flying in a wing is useful. See you there!

Isn't that the whole point? The amusing thing to do, I mean? There's a lot of other things I could currently do, in game as well as out of it, but actually running a revolution is way more fun at the moment.

Oh, and regarding that pitchfork of yours - sorry, we're not that well organized at the moment. It's all we can do to keep the revolutionary forces well supplied with luxury items. But if you can find a reliable source, I'm sure someone with the transport capacity can bring in a few hundred tons of it. Until then, you're on your own - sorry.

Oh no, I find this hilarious. Just as much as the notion that this will do anything more than be an amusing diversion. It won't change anything. And just creates more friction. But I find it hilarious. What better way to show up how devious and sneaky SDC was, than by being equally devious in flipping tables, and then entire systems.

Nearest station to Wolfberg selling Crop Harvesters is Dorsey Ring in HIP 90162. Not sure if there is a market price for Pitch Forks at Litke Mines though, so you might have to wave it in the air like you just don't care...

Can any of the strategists confirm if we should focus on buying high value goods from Litke, or keep on with two-way trades? I'm happy to do either :)

To be honest, I don't care if someone else took this to FD for whatever reason. I'm getting tired of the complaining. That's what this was all about. But to have a mod come in and stir the pot with his inflammatory off topic bait and then have another mod just say it was ok because it was his opinion makes me want to wash my hands of the whole thing. Reporting it is pointless. I'm not sure if I even care to continue play this game at this time if these representatives of FD are going to act this way.

I'll leave the topic to all of you good people. Thanks for the support and all the fish.

Not to report the contents of anyone's opinion. To widen the audience and maybe get some press from FD/GalNet over it. Opinions are. Let 'em go.

I'd just like to add this point, considering some of the points made against moderators, we have both PvPers, PvEers, and those who enjoy both on the moderation team.

Its not like we as a group are for or against this proposal. We do individually give our opinions on threads, and we might disagree with each other, but hey, we don't start having a go at each other for holding our opinions.

I see no reason why the playerbase in general cannot also do the same.

And when all else fails, we just blame TJ. :D

thanks, thats my full dose of irony for the week

Friends in high places! ;) Remember, it's not what you know, it's who you know! ;)

Must .... resist .... bait .... :x
Tactics will now be discussed by both parties and expect a response soon. One tactic they are using is "Firing at us in here".
PvP without a P is just Pv.....
Don't feed them please, If you give them lots of materials they will use engineering to synthesis them into stronger weapons to fire at us.
Please advise this as often as possible as interested parties find it difficult with all this mess to find the salient point, and they can be missed, without talking to those that are not interested in the relevant information.

Keep doing what you have been until further notice, and if you can find it in you to give a bit more for the cause, do so.

Kiss your loved ones good bye, cancel all appointments, Prepare for WAR.

Lets get this thread off the top and further into the shadows.

I think that post Feb 26th is the earliest observation of the war. So in the worst case we may have some long wait.
Unfortunately for the mechanic to play the game, The CZ. I have bug reported it and so have others, It has been mentioned several times on this very thread which must get read occasionally.
We can and must push GHG high, fast or it will drag.

Buy from Litke sell elsewhere - even within system.
Jury is out on the trading in effect (or we can call it a difference of opinion), but to be safe, if you are trading please do not sell to Dogmaa.
Can anyone that traded anything in the 24 hours before the tick 11:00 GMT, PM me with rough details please.

As I reflect on this Wolfberg CG and try to determine what good came out of this, this what I learned:
1. Community-driven events can be more fun than the FD-driven events. With some exceptions, the formal CGs were either stale (no player interaction) or frustrating (griefer interaction). The exceptions (for me) were the plague-related CGs. Bast was a great CG where (almost) everyone pulled together.
2. Flying in Mobius group is great fun when the pilots interact and fly together and stale when pilots treat it like Solo mode. Before the Wolfberg CG, almost all pilots I encountered in Mobius kept to themselves. Recent events have made pilots aware that flying together is much more fun.
3. The BGS provides complex depth to the game and Mobius groups can exert a powerful influence on systems.
4. Build a list of trusted friends, friends that you know through their in-game behavior AND their forum posts. I make it a practice to learn the forum name of each pilot that I encounter as their words are just as revealing as their actions.
5. Never respond to forum baiters. Just turn a deaf ear. I've made good use of the forum's Ignore List. It keeps the resulting thread appearing as though it is on topic.
6. Never post about griefers. I learned this one the hard way. Limit your conversation about it to those that can help you do something about it - skilled pilots that will help you in-game, mods, group owners, etc.

I'll have to try that. Adding them all to the ignore list will probably take half the night, but it might be worth it.
