This sounds like it might include Aisling's Control/Exploited effect as well. It's basically the same as Kumo's but with different goods affected. Any clarification?

I just checked one of our control systems with data from a few days ago. Supply was around 19k higher, but price was only reduced 300 credits (8600 to 8300 ish). Doesn't seem like any change to me. Of course, I'm not even sure the server side fixes are live yet anyway.

I thought the Aisling one already worked with high priced commodities like Palladium?

So I haven't been on top of it for awhile, but last fall the effect shifted prices up by 10% in exploited systems and not just control systems. We're supposed to get just the increased production/consumption in exploited systems, which should lead to a price drop in exploited systems that produce HVGs. I had an old bug on the subject. Jezza seems to think it'd never been changed. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Mostly I just want to know whose effects specifically were changed.

EDIT: This is the Palladium prices chart from Eggerton Orbital in Beker during the time it became exploited by Ienpalang.

I stand corrected, however; the 10% hike bug looks fixed. Not sure if this is because of the recent server patch, but supply is now 1,282,972 (high) with sell/buy of 12,580/12,705. In other words, back to pre-exploited levels. It looks like the "increased production/consumption" effect isn't moving prices at all. I think that is what the Kumo are seeing as well.

Hi Brett, in regards to this:
"System and Rank effects that affect the values of Fines and Bounties (including Archon Delain's Rank 5 100% reduction) are working, but the Transactions cockpit UI tab often requires a Starsystem transition to catch up to the modified values."

I've jumped away and back, and its been over 24 hours since I got this fine, but its still there:

I'm rating 5 with Archon Delaine, and Halbangaay is one of his Control Systems

Hi Brett

Can the game launcher GUI inform on such updates so someone that doesn't track the forums can actually know a patch was released?

Hi commanders, we're rolling out a server side patch today. We're not anticipating any downtime while we get this update pushed to the servers. Below are the patch notes.

General Fixes:

  • Fixed some Commanders unable to get into the game because of an error loading their Commander Data.
  • Fixed a transaction server error when docking an SRV into a ship.

Powerplay Fixes:

  • Updated various description strings.
  • Fixed some Powers' incorrect Commodity stock System Effects.
  • Fix President Hudson's weapons discount in HQ, Control and Federal Exploited systems.
  • Fix Senator Patreus' Rank 5 discount for rearming costs.
  • Fix a "double dipping" of bounty and combat bond voucher value effects. Now:
    • The Rank Benefit only applies when redeeming vouchers in systems controlled or exploited by your Power
    • The System Effect only applies when claiming a Bounty by destroying a Wanted ship in a system controlled or exploited by your power

Known issue:
  • System and Rank effects that affect the values of Fines and Bounties (including Archon Delain's Rank 5 100% reduction) are working, but the Transactions cockpit UI tab often requires a Starsystem transition to catch up to the modified values.

Nice!! Next punch in my face after 2.1 delay and still missing minor patches...

Now PP and Rank 5 Bounty Bonus (combat) is nothing against this damn trading thing. I hate trading but if you want to make really credits, you will be forced to it...

This game is sinking like the Titanic! Sorry but you guys should think about decisions before doing it without consideration :(

: (

Bounty hunting really does need a buff. Even with that bug BH wasn't better than trading. For many of us it's one of the only enjoyable ways to make some credits.

Trading pays better, BH-ing is entertaining. You can't have both, right?

Smuggling is still king.

I don't play via steam ...

True. There are only a few who are running game over Frontier launcher. But we are talking about few people. Most of people like to keep games in one place and therefore using Steam. Anyway the statement of Altarf is truth and nothing more. I wish it would be otherwise but sadly that's the reality. I haven't launched the game this year even once but i do follow forums hoping something will change. Until now there was just a few minor fixes while most of game breaking bugs still exist. Rushing things like seperate release of he game (I'm talking about PVP) and trading/crafting system is just nonsense. I mean .. you don't pimp the broken car .. you have to fix it before pimp it :)

Any legitimate source for this "fact"? Or is it just your opinion?

Who are these most people? Out of the 4 people i know that play ED only one uses the steam client anymore.

It's a fact. I was here when all this "Give us Steam Keys" thing occurred. From my prospective most of the players have games in one place which is OK since it's more organized. Also all players which i know that played ED had it on Steam and I'm talking about 20+ or even more people. Same with streamers which i followed. So my opinion is based on my own experience which tells me most people use ED on Steam. It's common sense. Nothing else. I know there will always be fans and that's ok with me. But reality is that this games sinks quite fast.

I mean you can protect Frontier and developers as much as you want. My opinion is based on fact I'm seeing. Nothing more. Where are your facts?

Again, have you got any solid source for your fact, apart from speculating by seeing the, I quote, "'Give us the steam keys' thing occurring" on the forums?

You base your opinion about game apparently sinking on something totally speculative .

Seeing 200 people post in a few threads about steam keys and watching 5 streamers (if you really even paid attention to steam launcher... lol...) doesn't really reflect the 1.5 million game buyers.
